IILMGSM is going to organize MOSAIC very soon...its an inter college competition with lots of interesting and amazing games and lots of dance to rock everyone....still now it has been a great experience in I FEST conducted by lodhi road and gurgaon campus...looking forward to it..!!!

IILM is considered as one of the best B-schools in Delhi/NCR....it has got good infrastructure facilities, faculties are also well experienced, placements are also good as many companies with good brand names comes to the college for placements every year.....Rs. 7.5 lakhs is the college fee & if your interested in taking the hostel facility provided by the college than R.s 60,000 is the hostel fee...college also provide loan facility to its students who are interested in taking loan from the college...:-o

IILM NGO & Environment Club is organizing a NGO Fair for its students (on 31/01/2012) which provides the platform for NGOs to attend the fair in order to present their work...it will be a motley of festivity and service where students will be enjoying the FOOD STALLS, GAMING ZONE & also there will be fund raising event....the fund raised will be used for charity works...overall by organizing such activities college provides a great opportunity for the students to develop there interest....:D

IILM have a reputation and have a brand name it does not required any ranking or don't have to advertise/promote in regards to attract any student...it has been providing quality education to its students from very long time....and it is necessary to let the students know about the current scenario of the college....and its on demand of the student they want to be updated regarding the currently what's happening in the college....:)

as per my knowledge lowest package is around 2.5 lakhs, average package is around 3-4 lakhs and highest package is around 6-6.5 lakhs...packages may vary according to the quality of students i.e., can be negotiable

Each One Donate One campiagn was conducted by ICHHA (NGO Club, IILM Lodhi Road) during Girl Child Week, wherin they invited IILM family to donate stationary kits to underpriviliged members of Smile Foundation. The stationary kits included a writng register, an eraser and a sharpner and was given away by IILM students to kids at JJ slum. Smile Foundation has appreciated the efforts of ICHHA and has published this event on their website

... in IILM there are various forums/clubs like HR club, Finance club, Marketing club, Sports club, NGO club, etc in the college which adds on more value to the students knowledge and helps them to develop/identify there interest...when the students take admission in the college seniors try to interact with the students and many seniors who are the presidents or heads of there respective clubs/forums try to identify the students who have the capability to represent there clubs...to become the member of any club/forum student have to appear for PI(personal interview) which are taken by each clubs respective faculties...overall its a gr8 platform for the students to begun there journey of learning...:)

Anyways guys can U tell me more about the placements in this institute and is it worth writing MAT Feb 2012 rather than going for this college... I come from a middle class family and hence I have to go for bank loans... so need some advice from U all once again...

many persons will come and say that this college is good or you should try for this college they are giving high packages, many will say go and drop out may next time your luck will work out and you will get admission in a good college....its all rubbish what you need to do is that first identify what options do you have in your life...if you you wanna see the campus or the infrastructure or wanna meet and talk to faculties of not only IILM but also any other colleges your free to go over there...instead of listening to people go and check out by yourself and if you cant go that use the power of internet search about how is there infrastructure, what other activities goes on in the college, how is the environment of the college/campus, etc..as you are going to spend your 2 years in that college...and lastly almost 100 out of 90 student have to take the loan it depends upon you how you create your own place and get yourself placed...ol d bst:)

you must be aware of the fact that almost every MAT colleges fees ranges from 8-15 lakhs...your right that if students are not confident about there results can give another try but sometimes what happen is that students went to try on there luck by just studing 2 months and think that they are prepared to give the exams but what happen is that they end up ruining everything....if the students are clear enough in there mind that they will score a good marks than only they should go for it or else should identify there options....:)

If you're really serious abt doing it from a good college, I would not suggest you IILM. I came for IILM's GD/PI in 2009 for the kind of hype vreated by these people abt the institute. I had so many relatives living there but no1 knew what IILM is, and all of them are from reputed B-Schools. Still i went to the institute and attended the intro speech before filling up the form for application. I bought the form and after filling the form I started thinking is this the kind of institute i want to get into and i realized no and i walked out of the IILM campus. Before this I also spoke to the students on campus and I realized the quality of students you would be studying with. Prepared for one year. Gave MH MMS Cet and got AIR 57 and now into one of the most reputed B-Schools in the country. Moral - "Don't hurry into something when its about your career."

you must be aware of this fact that most of the institutes tries to give admission to students as much as possible in the name of management seats and taking or charging high amount of fees from them your absolutely right that by decreasing the number of seats it wont increase the ROI or the companies will start giving higher packages....but by decreasing the number of seats the college is trying to show more of the transparency towards the students and giving equal opportunity to every student to excel by giving admission to those student who can become or have the capability to become successful leaders or managers...that is the main USP(Unique Selling Proposition/Point) of this college...:)

regarding the standards IILM is one of the well known and one of the best colleges of Delhi/NCR and has got its own brand name that's why it does not participate in any of the ranking system like most other colleges who have there advertisements floating on various sites to attract students for admissions...and it also promises placements to its students and is known for providing quality education to its students...recently it has collaborated with HBS (Harvard Business School) and is providing HBS course or reading material to its student...:)

first of all i am aware that most colleges have this system but it is not common as your telling because it requires certified and experience faculties who can carry out certain test for the student and I'm aware of its full form the reason why I used this term because after conducting this test the students have to prepare a compulsory report on there results regarding what profile suits them better....like some student have scored high on venturesome, hard to fool and imaginative should go for marketing and advertisement also like the students who have scored high on concrete thinking, relaxed and controlled should opt for finance profile....so it is unique in its own way rather than common....:)

one of the main USP OF IILM is that when a student gets admission in the college after the completion of his/her 1st term he/she has to give a 'Psychometric Test' which is conducted by the OB/HR faculty and is compulsory for every student to give....this test is used to measure the knowledge, personality traits, atitude, etc of the student....students are asked to fill a questionnaire which has some similar questions repeated again but the content is somehow changed....in this test scores are given out of 10 to measure whether student is of reserved nature or is outgoing, whether the student is group dependent or is self sufficient, whether have concrete thinking or abstract thinking, etc....on the basis of the result students can improve on particular thing which would help the student later on when they are placed in a company....:)

I have some queries regarding IILM eligibility and admissions . I have scored around 72% in MAT dec 2011. I have a score of 60% throughout my career. And I have around 2 years of work-exp. Am I eligible to apply for IILM and how are the chances of getting through on the basis of these parameters.

Moreover I have another query regarding the last date to apply for IILM 2012-14 batch.

I have a keen interest to join this institute.

you are eligible for pi and I think you have good chances to clear the interview.
interviews are going to to be conducted on 11th and 12th feb at iilm lodhi road.
fill the application form from website , it is free of cost , fill in the application and appear for the interview

iilm will be good option for you, check the scholarship criteria from official website , interviews are scheduled on feb 11th,12th at lodhi road campus

one of the main USP OF IILM is that when a student gets admission in the college after the completion of his/her 1st term he/she has to give a 'Psychometric Test' which is conducted by the OB/HR faculty and is compulsory for every student to give....this test is used to measure the knowledge, personality traits, atitude, etc of the student....students are asked to fill a questionnaire which has some similar questions repeated again but the content is somehow changed....in this test scores are given out of 10 to measure whether student is of reserved nature or is outgoing, whether the student is group dependent or is self sufficient, whether have concrete thinking or abstract thinking, etc....on the basis of the result students can improve on particular thing which would help the student later on when they are placed in a company....:)
