Thank u... Thanks alot...Actually I was worried because without MBA who will consider this as work experience... But atleast i can learn few things out of experience
Ofcourse it will work! Some experience is always better then no experience. Infact, utilise your time in introspecting your decision, work in HR for a year and try and get the feel of doing that job, for life. Obviously what you do initially is execution and not strategic but that is your base. <...

Hello all, a general question. As we know that XIMB is going to start HRM course from this year. So share some inputs in this area.
Just an add-on to this ....
This year onwards XIMB has also started PGDM-HRM course on the lines of XLRI. Some seniors from the PGDM batch shared the info that XIMB HR ppl are also very much sought after.
All the best

Would it be right if someone says that he/she wants to be an entrepreneur..in a HR interview?I said the same in XLRI HRM interview,it went good and at last the panelists even congratulated me saying i had confidence and a smiling face which is very essential for any HR manager..but my call was not converted..not even waiting list:shocked:
I thought I answered my questions well but panelists kept emphasizing on fact that go for BM if you want to be an entrepreneur.

Hi,
I feel it is very difficult to predict what one sees in an interview for selection.
If you truly meant it, that you want to be an entrepreneur, then stick to the same version (whatever the final call on selection is...); however if you said that to earn some brownie points and did not mean it, then it wud have been apparent to the panelists...
There is no rule which says an HR MBA would not be of use to an entrepreneur...
