Hello puys.

I suppose that this could be a frequent query... anyways..

Unlike Marketing and Finance, the recruiters would be more than pleased to hire the local talent for particular roles. This is highly relevant.

I wonder what kinda impact it does to the careers of the HR people?

A fresher gets a posting where he's a local and how does he climb the ladder from there?

@Anchun please answer a query... is it a negative or tough scenario for a fresher if he goes for mba-hr??? i have heard that freshers who choose mba-hr have a tough time in placements and even after so is it a fact or a myth ????

It is a Myth.

Freshers have as much chance as work-ex students to get a good placement after doing MBA-HR.

HR is a very interesting, challenging and exciting Field. It is for one and all. Do get back for any kind of further concerns..

But, if you are clear in your mind that HR is your calling, go for it, then!Myth 3: HR is a women's profession.Reality: That's been a case because HR was perceived as a 'softer' profession earlier, but not any more. HR is as competitive as any other stream of management today. There are tough targets in hiring, selection, training, appraisals, consulting etc. Men and women are on equal footing. For example, in my 6 years of workex, I've seen a fair gender mix amongst HR professionals. So, have no worries on that front.P.S. I'll be back with more.
