abhimukh19 There is no hard and fast rule that academics will create an obstacle for you though , Many organizations stress on academic excellence , I would say take it company by company and do well in your MBA , it should help you get a good summers

Does clearing CFA and FRM level 1 before summer placements gives advantage over someone who has cleared only CFA or only FRM because they cater to different domains in Finance .

well that was a nice response....but i would suggest you to research a bit on whether u can have such profiles after a non-flagship course.. specially when financial market isnt going through best of the phases

Let me help you, if u want a career in stocks/shares, MF's etc..yes i would say go on..i am sure when you complete this you will be knowing inside-out of stock market ( i mean everything) as long as job perspective you join AMC, broking company, etc etc

@anand5787 : I am still an aspirant, but I do know quite a lot of non-IT of IT. You don't get the usual FRM/ Risk Management kind of role that you get at AMCs or in Investment Banking. But, yes, you do have hedging, currency risks and asset management even in IT. Much of it is outsourced to Bank...
