Those who are in CSS will have say in all ministries except mea and railway. In MEA there are opportunities of going abroad. Railway provides many facilities like pass, accomodation and power in matters related to railway throughout the country. Promotion wise css is best among them. Different people have different taste. How is the preparation going on for cgl 12 my friends? Please share what you all are eyeing this time for. I am trying to grab a job of 4600 gp i U.P. I have filled only two states U.P. and Delhi as my state preferences. With CSS I am happy but trying to secure a job in my home state. This will provide an opportunity for getting posted near my home town or in the home town also. My first preference is ITI and second one is excise inspector. Last time there were few vacancies of ITI but no vacancy for EXCISE INSP in UP.

just 8-10 days prior i went to both the head office of SSC as well as CBEC....

SSC guy told me they are doing some kinda scrutiny...and it will take around 15 - 20 days to send it to the CBEC..department...
CBEC ma'am was very cool and calm and told me that she hasnt received any documents and is waiting eagerly as their is lot of work in the department and they urgently require resources...to give them work.. :(

Lets hope our documents reaches the CBEC office soon...

KKR region will send ur dossier to nr and nr will show the satus of ur nomination.I think it has been done just check nr website also physical of excise is on 20 and 21 for delhi excise.just check on this forum or on facebook page.

I am trying to call WR nos. as given on SSC.nic.in website but either nobody picks up the phone are the nos. are switched off.

Your PET and medical letter is going to be dispatched within two weeks.
I received this info when talked to ce(kerala) cebc dept. They said to pass this message to all the friends who are selected for kerala region for Central excise post... they will upload info in central excise cochin/kochi website also. They told to check the website regularly if anyone does not receive call letter on time by post, he can get necessary info from there..

So,wait for some days........

Not sure if i can refrain myself from joining CBEC as for the job security and definately considering the other security in Govt job. but for sure I don't want to repent post joining.. i don't get enough time here to prepare for administrative job (IAS).. Bhai , attestation procedure alag alag jagah pe alag alag hota h. I wud advise u to directly contact S.D.M. and ask him what procedure to follow . In my case he asked me to get the form signed by Tehsildar .

see sometimes salary doesn't matter,relief and some social value matters....in MNC earning can be in lac but you don't have time to njoy....if you are lucky then company will send you out of india and again you need to work there a lot....either day or night....so some people don't want only money they want some other things from lyf!

It's a clerical job, cbec is infamous for slow promotions..... won't suggest you to leave your job notwithstanding the fact that MNC packages are deceptive.
