Since you are preparing for UPSC ,location will matter a lot.

You should go for a location where adequate coaching is available.

If both the positions are in same location then prefer central excise as IB has no timings for work.

Even if the vacancies remain vacant after all the selections are done, they will not be offered to anyone, instead they will carry forward to next year.

I have heard in a facebook page that there is a chance for mutual swap, so try to find someone who is willing to swap with you.

hello frndz,,,,i got auditor in C&AG; IN tripura in cgl13,,,,,m sure m nt gonna join dere,,,,is der any solution dat i can come to any northern state,,,,i dnt mind another post also like junior acntnt,,,,my marks wer 325 general which fall in many northern state's cutoff's....bt due to wrong form filling,,,i got tripura,,,plz help guys,,,,someone pls do cum up with solution and ideas....plz guys...wat if posts remain vacant in northern states evn after joining of candidiates,,,can something be done afterwards..??
