I know ppl who got screwed must be feeling highly dejected.....just one wrong bubbling did the whole thing....
nxt time onwards make sure wt u are filling check atleast two time wht u have entered coz these sarkari ppl dnt think before cancelling the answer sheets...machine me daala read nahi kiya toh cancel....so plz plz follow the instructions and even if invigilators are there to assist u dont depend on them as they are just there to make sure the test is smoothly run and it is expected that they dont know anything bt the details or the info that u need to furnish on the answer sheet...everything needs to be furnished properly and it is clearly mentioned on the instruction booklet or on back of the admit card....

having said that still there are instances when ppl are fooled by some unavoidable circumstances or extreme back luck....toh yaar we dnt have control over that....out of 40k who have been rejected it was expected that roughly around 1-2k make it to the next round....so really really a misfortunate...SSC should learn frm such instances and why the hell u have to usse such codes where there might be ambiguity between O and 0...

We can use Arithmetic Series Formula here.

Sum of Terms : n (first term+last Term) /2

The question is about the sum of the digits and not the actual sum.

I dont what method you have adopted but sum of series 1 to 100 can not be 901 in any case.
Just simply add 90,91,92.....100 It crosses 901. Simply 90*100 =900.
