sol:
let the total value of piece of diamond is 6gm.
k*(6)^2 = 5184
k= 144.
so cost of broken piece1 = k*1 = 144cost broken piece2 = k * 4 =144*4 = 5763rd piece = k * 9 = 144 * 9 =1296
so total value of 3 broken pieces = 2016
so total loss = 5184 - 2016 = 3168.:)

we all discussing about cut-offs here... do one thing...once the official keys out...we will create a poll regarding score on the basis of official keys.... then we will have a good idea regarding cut-offs...

Hi guys this is the official notification of ssc for CGL-2012 The Commission shall have the discretion to fix different minimum qualifying standards in each component of the Tier-I Examination taking into consideration among others, category-wise vacancies and category-wise number of candidates...
