I had been to LHO delhi 13th floor and they said the same thing by monday letters are giong to be dispatched. Expect your letters sometime next week....keep looking for the postman... :cheerio::

I also heard that the process of allocating the circles is going on at the moment, the candidate's merit and choice both are taken into consideration.

I called up CRPD office of mumbai today............And a lady there responded to my call for the first time and said that the circle allotment process is complete by now. And they have alloted everyone of us the different circles according to our merit and requirements of SBI branches.

So all of us will get a call and mail by post by the end of january 2011 from local head office where we will be posted. Then we ll have our medical done and posting will be confirmed.

And she said generally all of us will be alloted our first preference most probably but there are chances that we may get 2nd preference circle.

So hope for the best. All the best puysss

Then the respective circle will issue a letter for Medical examination to the candidates under that circle. Then after undergoing Medical Examination, we will be getting appointment/ joining letter from that circle. She also said that it's possible that one circle can give joining before another.

I wish I get my first choice.....Delhi.

SBI has many world class training institutes:

SBSC - State Bank Staff College Hyderabad - PO's get training here.

SBIIRD - State Bank Institute for Rural Dev - Most of us PO RBs will be put for training here also

SBIICM - Hyderabad and STU in Hyderabad and we have one more Training centre where will be put surely Gurgaon.

The Name of the institute which is located in gurgaon is.......
SBLC- State Bank Learning Centre, Gurgaon.

Apart from this there are many SBLCs in each area like Bangalore, Mumbai.....etc.

One more thing is that apart from these institutes, The previous Batch was also trained in IIM, Lucknow.

I wish u all the best and congrats for becoming a part of dream team of SBI. Me too will join u people over there.

About profile PORB, i wish to inform you people that there are specialised branches called ADB of SBI and high meritorious person will be placed in them. After that some people can be place at admin office looking after agriculture growth but they will very few. Rest will be posted in semi-urban branches since i have gone through lot of analysis, i find that SBI is having their branches at good location, they may be at highway but not in interior rural region. so be glad to be placed at rural branches. you can commute from nearby town or district. But profile will of field officer and we people will be responsible for basically credit growth of the branches and will go for survey in loan projects and will look after NPA recovery too in short span.
but i want to assure u that profile will be very challenging and u will having fun and got lot of respect in that area.

i am no expert.....but i think there is no difference between Po & Po(rb)
because i think it was on 8 oct (my interview date).. a guy came who was already an po in mumbai office came to apply for Po(rb)...but he was not allowed to appear for the interview as an Po cannot apply for the same post (no idea as to why he wanted to apply for the po(rb) post)...any puys from the oct 8 afternoon mumbai batch can confirm this...as for the posting i have no idea

I tell everyone that and not "PO" I was getting tired of seeing "software engineer" all the time ....
Anyways, I created this thread so that all of us can get together and discuss things here. I feel that it has been serving the purpose. I am not on facebook though :(

I got an offer letter in hard copy from SBBJ. Neither a text message nor an email was sent. The same is true for Bank of Baroda as well.

mene aap sabse kha tha ki SBI me salary & perks wud be the fascination point for most of guys...u all discussed a lot ...lets discuss SBI PO profile..

i think it is most challenging job... handling high work pressure with high accuracy....

and if we clear JAIIB & CAIIB soon then it will give us a very bright career in banking....


sbi people say- if u don't take 3 promotions in 10 yrs then u have wasted ur time...


sbi is inspiring youth to move or fly as high in banks and therfore they are giving fast promotional chances....

ANd sbi hyderabad training centre is best among all its training centres...and most of the officers get the training in sbi hyderabad....

And 40 % staff is getting retired soon....

Ya most of the people who are shortlisted have got the confirmation through message on mobile by CRPD. Still many of the people havent received the message. But I think those who havent received any message and their number is still there in list, they must contact CRPD for making sure that they have made it through SBI PO.

But nobody has received any e-mail, or any post/courier communication from CRPD as of now.

So keep waiting for the further communication from CRPD

i m trying to say that i hav my caste as well as non-creamy certificate of july'2010 onwads as i had submitted d old one to get the latest one .

but the thing is , in sbi notification , its mentioned that it should be of date 28-02-2010 or before that. hope i m nt confusing u more

Dude watever it is written there........! But is it practical ? If all the people must have submitted the old original one to get new one then how can it be with anyone of the OBC guy at present?????

If you have a vehicle RC book with your name on it u r eligible to get whatever litre petrol amount (no need of fuel bill)or else flat rate like 700Rs if u dont have a vehicle.....

Hey buddy I couldnt get your point......! As its said the certificate revised on or before feb 2010. Right??
But the fact is that when you renew the non creamy layer certificate, we have to submit original n then only we get new non creamylayer + cast cerificate.

So thre is no question anybody would be having the cast certificate+ non creamy layer certificate at the time of joining.......
