SBI PO guys had to report for medical and got their joining letters from there.Same may be the case for us.

Rohit got the postal letter also just before an hour.I am among those 11 people whome they mail & i dont have given any preference as Mumbai..My preference was Patna,Lucknow & Kolkata.

The first source is the advt itself where the pay scale is mentioned.

Please let us know if any one is getting any information regarding the extension.

You can get extension since they won't let you join without relieving letter assuming you have shown the experience.

Jaipal , this is not very unusual for SBI. Normally in organizations HR and training dept oversee recruitment and joining. Here CRPD oversees the recruitment and then delegates joining to some other department. Also since this a PSU all this takes a lot of time. As an example SBI PO results were declared in early Feb and their joining is in late April May. They got their first notification from SBI in early April I think.So late joining is very much the norm in SBI as compared to other PSU banks. I guess SBI is very confident that candidates will not leave for other banks so they are not really in a hurry.

Hill all, i also filled Delhi,Mumbai ,Ahmadabad as my preference..now it wud be clear after any notifi given by SBI.so just wait.i contacted CRPD on Saturday..they told,some other dept is working on this,u will get it very soon...

They removed the sections for interview schedule and final result of law officer and security officer.

Hi Arjun...I also opted for Chandigarh,Delhi....I dont think "SYSTEMS" is only for mumbai....but ....lets see what they come up with....

regarding salary....1c i discussed with 1 of my friend who is asst. mng. in "punjab & sindh bank" ......he said His salary, take home, is 26k/pm with the same grade 14500 basic(grade..we r gona get).....but he also said that SBI is diff. n they pay more than any other public sect. bank......
1 more thing....my friend informed me that pay hike for gvt. banks will be due on 1st nov'12....its similar to "pay commission" for other govt org....so...lets keep our fingers crossed....
regarding perks(allowances).....SBI is supreme....thy have allowance for almost every thing...nws paper, servant, furniture, petrol...u name it n its there...
any body have ny other info...or any contradictory info....plz share n discuss...
