Hey puys , I am in a dilemma and want a little advice.

Background:

B tech Automobile 2011

Exp of 9 Moths in Bosch Ltd as Territory Manager Sales and Service.

Then left the job to study for Mba entrance but due to some personal reasons can't go for Mba.

In the mean while i did java core coaching as i didn't want to do sales job. But i am not able to find job based on only java core.

I have interest in Sap as few of my friends are working on it. I am confused should i join Sap SD (or some other) module training?? Will it be a right decision?? plz help!!

I did BCA then MBA in IT and marketing. I have an experience of 9 months in marketing field. Is it beneficial for me to go to SAP ABAP course via CDAC?

otherwise if someone from i.t experience goes for marketing/fin/h.r then its not seen that much .. as the companies think the candidates lack domain knowledge and hence the salaries and profiles offered are avg in marketing/fin/h.r for I.T experienced guys

Your question is more on the lines of alignment of work ex with the profile one applies for during B-School placements!

Please see that I too had SAP-ABAP as well as MDM Consulting experience and have friends as well with similar work ex, working across the sectors and domain ; not only in manufacturing domain or in SCM!! So, need not worry! As far as being preferred is considered, it also depends on which SAP modules you have worked in! Say if you have worked in FICO for a finance client, a bank/ finance company will not outrightly discard the work done by you. SD module stands in similar state for sales profiles and so on!

People say a lot without undergoing similar situation Do not bother yourself a lot... work hard and depending on college you get into - you will see your work ex getting valued especially in Consulting companies!

Guyz let me put down all the stuffs :

I see that the Functional people are the big shots in my Team and they have the upper hand..they are paid more..they take the decisions....Now obviously I see MBA as an option to reach at such a managerial role : Now Plz brief me How an MBA in SCM(or IT) can help me to grow .If you guyz think that there is a lack of clarity in my thinking Plz point it out.
