well, according to the advice of all u ppl, i've dropped the idea of joining TAPMI/NIRMA for infy.. now even the last dates for these institutes are over...i HAVE got the e-mail from infy saying that i have been selected and that i'll b told about my date of joining n location WITHIN 3 months...w...
hey guys,I will be joining infy on sept 16th. Is it true that we are not allowed to leave the campus during training even on weekends?? and would leave for a day or two be granted during training period??

Hi,I have completed my MBA and have been recruited as Associate Consultant in Infosys. The Training period would start from 22nd May just need to know after the 2 months training period do Infosys offer the Base location as per our choice or its totally on the requirements.Waiting for the reply

u could have asked the question in the same post instead of asking in two different post. Ok, regarding the salary it is not true. Once you complete your bond period of 1 year, your salary ranges from 3.7 to 4 , depending upon your grade. after 3 years you will be promoted to SSE and the salary ...

i m not really sure on this. Because most of friends those who left infy in the bond period did pay the amount.. i think they will not give an experience certificate in that case.
plz someone answer this also.. Additional info for above- I don't want black star on my NSR profile. It can create issues in future.. :(
always you have chance to be in IT companies like HCL,TCS,infy and CTS irrespect of your stream of engineering... i think MBA will be bettter option for you considering your stream of graduation...

I cant comment on the article, its as per your interpretation. But one thing is for sure, there is a transition going on around the IT industry where they expect the talent to be an all-round performer.

no.. nowadays infy gives alot of chance to fresher during training...in generic training 65 used to be passing marks now it think generic training has been removed as of now...in stream training passing marks used to be 50...infy doesnt throw you out if u fail in it test..it will take retest and...
if your days of LOP is more than 30 days and you do not have a good realtion with your reporting mangare then it will be extended by minimum 2 month..

@junefever during training when does infosys terminates a person means if he fails in one exam or what???? what is better according to you m.tech or mba after experience??

@adream27 the amount gets decreased depending on the number of months we have worked. i mean, a guy who has worked for 6-7 months has to pay around 1.3L(as u said). And a guy who has worked 9-10 months has to pay more or less than 1.3L???

yes m saying abt 1 year agreement i had signed with infy, if i break it how much would i need to pay, some of my friends left the company, got 2-3 notices from infy but htey didnt payed the amount asked.
During training around 13.5k(deductions like room rent will be the major part)after posting approx. 23K(this will be during your probation period ie 1 year)After confirmation 27-29K depending upon your rating

i don't think so, that u can just resign and leave without paying anything. A few of my friends left the job in the probabtion period and they had to pay the amount as mentioned in the service agreement. And i am very sure about it.
@adream27 its not called the 1 year bond....it is the 1 year confirmaton period....u have to serve a year after u training to det confirmed....so if he plans to leave the company,he just have submit & resignation & work for a month or so....sorry by mistake referrred it as bond period,.....its pr...
bond period of 1 month?? i think @rdeathi is talking about the 1 year bond before which if one leaves the job, he/she has to pay a certain amount.
@rdrathi until u get confirmed u have a bond period of only 1 month....so the best option wud b to resign & just serve one month.....then u have to pay nothing....

@rdrathi i think if u take a LOP it will delay ur confirmation as well as bond period. And if you leave the company in the bond time then the amount u have to pay will depend on the time u have spent in the company. Some of my friends had to pay around 1.5 L.
hi, i joined infy last year and now my conirmation date is 1 sep 2013, but i want to have a LOP for the remaining period. if i do so will it affect my bond (getting delayed) or just the confirmation. i want to leave the company but if i break the bond how much would i need to pay?
