Are you based in India? PRINCE2 is getting quite popular in India and having a PRINCE2 qualification is not a bad idea. However the benefits of the PRINCE2 methodology to the projects you are working on depends on the implementation of the method which in itself is a project.

I did my PRINCE2 qualification with a UK based training provider through their PRINCE2 eLearning. My opinion is that it is easy to use, well structured and most of all cost effective.
