i am from xlri..please give me a chance
There are actually many values that A can take, but as you said in all cases B is divisible by 2...so case solved:)
2 2
Even if you take a= 36 0r a=4 or a=9..... in all the cases b got to be divisible by 2.... and thats what we need to know
2 2
But still yaar....why should it be 36*42 and not 4*378? after all 4 is also a perfect square whose value A could assume.
1 1
Oh sorry yaar
Its 36 * 42
I mean ab = 1512
a is perfect sqaure so a= 36
and b is 42
So b is divisible by 2
SO we get this ans using both statements.....
______________
Thats the advantage of DS even if u make mistake even then u can get it right
Mein to CAT nahi de raha...
2 2
What is 36*63...I didn't understand
1 1
My bad....I didn't see the root at all
Squaring both sides
abc= 504 * 504
c=168
so ab = 3 * 504
so b cannot be determined here
taking second statement we get 36 * 63
A is 36
SO b is not divisible by 2
SO we can determine the ans using both the statements
1 1
Okies.....I am assuming they are all natural numbers
Taking only the first statement into consideration:
C=168, so AB = 3, hence B= 3 or 1 so not divisible by 2. It can answered using this alone.
Second statement:
A is a perfect square
Factors of the number 504 are 7, 3^2, 2, 4^2
Its Data sufficiency que.....
U need to ans whether u need 1st statement only or 2nd only or both or even both cant answer
Is it a data sufficiency question or can I use both the clues?
DS
root ABC = 504
Is B divisible by 2?
(1) C = 168
(2) A is a perfect square
Oh, then wrong answer...ours is correct
1 1
Yes exact ans is 34.87%
but ans given is > 35%......
___________
good to see you back......

> 25%.....34.87% to be exact.

In a basketball contest, players must make 10 free throws. Assuming a player has 90% chance of making each of his shots, how likely is it that he will make all of his first 10 shots?
> 35 %
> 25 %
> 55%
> 75%
Answer is e.4356. For a rectangle to be formed we require 2 vertical and 2 horizontal lines. Number of ways of selecting two vertical lines is 12C2 similarly horizontal lines is 12C2. So total rectangles = 12C2*12C2.

Can you be more specific? I would suggest you to take a look at the last time's paper so that you would get an idea of what you want to prepare. The questions in RBI are a notch above the other bank exams. Read from MBA entrance materials, refer to PD and BSC. Attempt as many questions as you can...
