Just missed this awesome post. I just came across it and very much impressed after going thru the posts in this thread.As the admission is closed now I guess so wanted to know

(1) When would be induction for next batch?
(2) Do they take admission twice a year?
(3) I haven't given SNAP but have work exp more than one year. M I eligible for it?
(4) What is the selection process further? GD or PI
(5) How's the industry exposure of this course curriculum?

What is the placement scene ? Retail is going big ... how is the response to this course when it comes to the Recruitment by Big Retail Houses ?

The eligibility criteria is that the candidate should have taken the SNAP test OR, if he/she hasnt, then he/she should have a minimum of ne years work experience.

To apply you need to send a demand draft in for rs 1000 in favour of Director SIMS payable at pune and attach your name, phone number, email address, snap id number and contact details with it. after that they send you a login id and password which u use to download the form. Fill up the form and send it back to SIMS. Last date for receipt of completed application forms is 3rd march 2009

seems like a good deal....if you think about it theres recession and you still come out at par with the average graduate from BIMM etc with a gauranteed job in a bank like standard chartered...associate manager level...no credit card sales also! its affordable too...only one lakh for the year and you gte 80000 back in the form of the stipend.

ive applied too....wots ur score?i guess the competition will be high for gd/pi considering finding finance jobs is getting tough so with job assurance it seems like a safe bet..lets see

good to see all of u interested.....i have a friend in the first batch of this course which started last year.he is currently interning at the mumbai branch..they are being taught the different aspects of consumer banking like assets, sme, credit cards, loans etc.i think he's also getting a stipend of 10,000 i m not sure tho, but he's definitely getting something.he is enjoyin himself......
ive got a 58 in snap and i think i m eligible...

the course starts on 1st june...hope to meet u guys in gd/pi

even i heard about it...looks like its a good course,especially if it is assuring me a job and that too with symbiosis brand name..the last date of sending the dd is 3rd march.i heard there is a gd and a pi round....any info on that?:robot::eyepop:

yeah..even i came across it..it seems to be very interesting..a course which is offering 100% confirm package and that too at this point when the recession is going on..and what else do we need..brand of SIMS blended with the brand of Standard Chartered..
