I do not understand which is better for me- A MBA in Finance from Calcutta University or M.Com in Marketing from St. Xaviers College Kolkata? Although i score well in Finance, I do not understand whether I have natural inclination towards it. Whereas I believe I have natural inclination towards Marketing. I plan to do a job for few years after my master degree and then eventually be a professor. Kindly help me with this problem.

Correspondence from anywhere is almost same... however its somewhat better to do it from any university then open learning..
Which distance program is more recognized?? from IGNOU or from Delhi University school of open learning??

Mcom from any university is same.
However if you are doing it as correspondence from university then its preferable if you do it from your home university or any university where you can visit. Since you need to fill in form and provide various documentation visiting the same is necessary.

M.Com in Mumbai university has specialization in Management, Finance, Accounting, Operational Research, Business Studies.

St. Xaviers College, Calcutta has an M.Com. program where you can take specialization in Marketing, Finance or Intl. Business. The syllabus is almost like an MBA.
