Congrats to all fellow selected puys.... I have one doubt ... Whats the validity of this degree post our three year stint with the bank ?

I agree that after that our work is what going to matter but still i am in s/w industry and ppl do give preference to the degree ? how does it happen in the banking industry ...

Please note that this is one of the apprehension I have and want to have some feedback from you all!

What courier are you guys planning to send the docs through, i was thinking of BlueDart but i could not find out if they deliver there(Alwar Dist). I am sure EMS-Speed Post can deliver anywhere in India.

Dear VishSS,
The same thing we will get in hard format from ICICI Bank that we had received on 22nd. If required we can send that doc through Email.

I don't think we need to wait as last date is 3rd of march.

Before dispatching , I confirmed with Prof Mathur regarding the doc asked by NIIT University. After getting confirmation from him, I send through Blue dart courier.

Just confirmed from Prof Mathur that the 1st mail which we recieved from ICICI back for our confirmation is not thte one which we need to attach alongwith the DD.
He asked to wait for 1-2 days, recieve the hardcopy, and send the scanned copy of the signed hardcopy.
and do an online transaction.
which "Terms and Conditions" doc have u guys attached while dispatching the coutier??

I believe we have to attach a photocopy of that as well along with the DD while sending to NIIT University.

Just spoke to Prof Mathur, he said we need to send 4 docs .....

1. Acceptance letter by ICICI sent earlier duly signed,
2. Acceptance letter by NIIT sent today duly signed,
3. The acceptance application at the end of th email duly signed,
... 4. DD of 10K

He also said if u cant get the DD in time, he will talk to the Finance guys @NIIT and let us know if we can do an online fund transfer ....

Coming to Delhi wudnt b a problem..am sure am gonna get more trains for delhi than for Rewari..bt my question is hw mny r coming to Delhi on 27th-April and by wht time? I guess max 3pm we shud leave delhi 2 reach campus by 6.

1. The nearest station from campus is rewari only. Other big stations are obviously Jaipur & Delhi..but they are around 150 kms each frm the campus...

2. Hostel on single accommodation basis, laundry guy comes thrice in a week to the campus... For food, u need to pay approc 3500 INR per month, which includes a good heavy breakfast, tea/coffee/milk, then lunch, then a dinch at around 5.30 pm, which is also heavy and then dinner at 9 pm...
You dont have to make any special arrangement as such.. just bring your clothes, a couple of bed sheets & pillow cover (coz you will be given only mattress and pillow - no covers for them)....
