1. Acceptance letter by ICICI sent earlier duly signed,
2. Acceptance letter by NIIT sent today duly signed,
3. The acceptance application at the end of th email duly signed,
... 4. DD of 10K

He also said if u cant get the DD in time, he will talk to the Finance guys @NIIT and let us know if we can do an online fund transfer ....

Just spoke to Prof. Mathur n he confirmed that we only need to send 3 docs:

1: DD for 10k payable to NIIT Univ @ Delhi
2: Copy of duly signed acceptance of selection letter already sent to ICICI bank (the selection e-mail which most of us have already sent by now)
3: A copy of duly signed Acceptance of offer of admission received in today's e-mail (see enclosed below in the e-mail)

We do not need to send a copy of his today's e-mail signed since point 3 is just the same. This is what he told me.

This plan sounds cool, i am up for it. Lets create another google doc with the list of ppl coming to delhi on the 27th. Then we can make arrangements for a bus/van based on the number of ppl. Can some1 pls create a google doc, i cant access that from office.

1. The nearest station from campus is rewari only. Other big stations are obviously Jaipur & Delhi..but they are around 150 kms each frm the campus...

2. Hostel on single accommodation basis, laundry guy comes thrice in a week to the campus... For food, u need to pay approc 3500 INR per month, which includes a good heavy breakfast, tea/coffee/milk, then lunch, then a dinch at around 5.30 pm, which is also heavy and then dinner at 9 pm...
You dont have to make any special arrangement as such.. just bring your clothes, a couple of bed sheets & pillow cover (coz you will be given only mattress and pillow - no covers for them)....

I dnt seem to und wht ICICI guys r upto...I just cald up the HR 2day n asked dem dat my mngr is nt willing to compensate on the 3 month notice period, which wud be lyk end of may..I asked dem if my resignation would suffice..bt she answered NO saying 'We would require the relieving letter at any cost. Failure to do so would not allow u to be a part of this programme.'

2. Since 28 is a Satday, can we reach on 29(sun) since the classes would only start from Monday.

The campus is between 2-3 hrs from delhi airport.... You would need atleast a day to explore the campus, settle down there & arrange your things in your room... I would be better to reach on saturday (28th) by noon time....

Lets consolidate a query sheet and directly forward that to NIIT, I guess they are the correct one to answer these kind of queries.

If many ppl are coming to delhi, then a Volvo or something could be arranged.

Comments/suggestions are welcome.

1: Nearest large railway station to Campus is? I was checking a few combinations n thot REWARI cud be the one..its like 20 kms from Campus..if any other pls suggest..am frm Pune

2: Hw abt hostel, food, laundry facilities on the campus? r they inclusive of course fee or paid on daily/monthly basis? Do we need to make any arrangements beforehand, pls suggest.

If they shortlist u, den the answer is YES. It all depends on your profile and if you get shortlisted thro the initial rounds.

You would need to go to bank for getting guarantee agreement franked and then it would be required to be stamped & signed by a lawyer to make it legal.... signatures of ur guardian or whosoever is guaranteeing to pay on your behalf if you default, will be required... also, signatures of 2-3 witnesses would also be needed...

Neeraj, students have to stay in campus hostels only... married guys also have to stay as bachelors :)

Family accommodation is not available as of now... it would be available may be after 2-3 yrs as the university grows.... hostels are good & u would be given one room per person.... so u will have total privacy...

You would be getting another mail at right time.... Dont worry about that as of now....just put ur papers on the basis of the admission mail which you got, otherwise u will be late.......

Hey Puys, I'm unsure if this has been discussed earlier. Where would we be staying in Neemrana? Campus hostels most probably I guess. Any other option? The selection letter said that we'll be getting another mail with joining details however haven't yet received any. Help!:o

Guys private bikes/cars are not allowed in the campus.. campus is 2 kms interior from main delhi-jaipur highway...hence in order to travel from campus to the main road, university has car service available which can be requested for from the reception when you go out... also, the car picks u up from the road to the campus when u r coming back...

Leaves are not given to the students, but in case of emergency, you can take a leave after getting written permission from the lecturers whose lectures would fall on the day you take leave... gate pass are also to be availed before you leave the campus gate... I guess this solves your queries
