i am from andhra pradesh...
i got 173 marks in IBPS clerk
cat--OBC
i didn't get interview call for at least one bank..
please tell me what maye be the cutoff score for union bank and andhra bank?

can anyone confirm this for me, as far as i know there is no need for any caste certificate in the union bank interview na.......???

@ Foxrocks- bro . can you tell me what are the points that are needed to be touched upon while answering the most common and crucial question at the very start of the interview -" Tell us something about yourself or Introduce yourself...

Puys, up till now i was not able to write a single postin this new version of PG, PLEASS do help me, i have my union bank interview and i dnt have any print out of the application form submitted to union bank( i have the one for IBPS ,but not for the bank)..........

What is in your hand is this UBI interview call and that is your ray of hope what you have got is not even in the hands of other lakhs of candidates remember that. so do justice to your luck and be competitive, forget about selection and all other things which is in your mind.

Yeah... Struggle although painstaking but its rewards are beyond your imagination. Remember struggle is different from hard work alone. Struggle means hard work + life changing decisions, Struggle means to believe what decision you have taken is the best and work on it what ever may be the condition.
So puys with the start of aug there starts new opportunities in banks, contribute your hard work in the right direction forget all other things like some xyz person had already got selected and still he's giving interview etc etc prove that you r the best and that the respective bank had taken a wrong decision by selecting that xyz

I am a BBA passout and i was trying to get into banking from last year May month.. i could not clear PNB clerical exam that was held then because i was not having even a hint of what bank exams are like. I used to think that these are cakewalks..but i soon understood the reality then i gave ICICI Manipal exam..yet another failure.. but till then i was determined to study properly as passing time and being unemployed was terrible. i gave CWE for PO and cleared it without any coaching..just self study of 45 days- only 45 days, but real seriously.. i got 164 score and above 25 marks in each section yet i was not able to apply in even a single bank- reason: my age was 20 years as on 1-07-11 and my grad date was 10-08-11, this was my greatest setback.. these less important hurdles refrained me from giving interviews which i could have cleared. that was luck! parents by this time, lost hope in my efforts, although they knew my academics but still life was hard.. ALL OF US FACE THIS STAGE..but as time passed by i became even more aggressive about getting into banking anyhow..WE HAVE TO BELIEVE IN OURSELVES BEFORE WE EXPECT OTHERS TO BELIEVE IN US..it was gud that i had also given the CWE clerical..no coaching this time too.. i scored 185..coz the paper was average on difficulty..thankfully i could now atleast apply for interviews..i was able to attend only 2 interviews BOI and BOB.. but by God's grace, cleared both..i would soon share the experiences..for now i shared what i felt was most important.. Struggle ! All the Best to all!

planning to give IBPS exam this year. How to go about it?

After giving the exam lets say I clear the cut off for BOI so for BOI ill have to give GD PI both or just PI?

And suppose I get selected so what job will I get? Also I graduated this year and have no work ex so will it affect my chances?
