I have been trying to fill my form online since this morning however every time I confirm the online payment details, I am getting an error page stating 'server busy/ down ' .

i am a computer engineer and therefore as per the advertisement issued by IBPS for specialist officers' recruitment,i am eligible for the post codes 01(It officer-scale1),05(technical officer-scale1) and 08(IT officer-scale2)...

i just glanced at the CBS challan form in the IBPS website...

the 1st column itself asks for Post applied...and some horizontal space is given after that ...As far as i understand,we have to fill the codes of the posts for which we"re eligible...for example,i should write Post codes 01,05 and 08 in that column...as the post names would be inappropriate(due to the small space available there)...please have a look at the CBS challan and advise me...the challan format is available on ibps.in...

also,what should we write in the column named -"Bank transaction charges"..i suppose we have to decide which bank we"re going to deposit the fee in,then go to any branch of that bank and there,the Deposit Officer will tell us what is the transaction fee for that bank...

please reply asap....thanx in advance.....

Same is the case here..... As in IBPS add, they do not mention "type of experience", you can apply. But whether the banks will call you for interview or not is not sure (even if you clear cut off). Because, I saw adds of different banks for specialist officer-- they mentioned "experience in banking job only". I also applied for IT Officer (Scale-2), though my experience is in Telecom field (ISP)...

hey you can apply for tech/it , you will get the sample paper with the call letter

dude nothing can be said right now,but still i would suggest you to go for it because if there plan was to ask computer knowledge in technical officer(s/w questions)then why they would have made/kept a seperate paper for this post...

secondly competition for that post will be less(my calculation kindly don't question)....

ibps will release sample paper for each post then you will have clear picture...till them keep practicing aptitude...

DUDE in professonal knowladge there will be questions based on ur respective discipline...computer guys will be given computer question and civil guys will be given civil question accordingly.
But yes they can ask some general computer question like MSWord/Excel(not S/w related like DBMS/Netwkng)..to all the candidates irrespective of their category.so chill...

kaunsa bhrun koi bta do bhai.ek se zyada podt ke liye apply kr skte hain kya

Well in case u apply for IT officer post u have to study CS subjects like DBMS/Networking/OS etc...if u dont wanna study then do apply for technical officeer post in it there will be a saperate paper for each branch viz...Civil/Mech/Elect..etc
