hey i am not from ece stream but my opinion you can prepare from previous papers of jto , bel , ecil there are lot of books in the market try them.

hmmm , i bunked this exam in last minute got stuck in a remote place so what about the other topics reasoning , quant which level are they ?

These are the topics for the post of IT officer.
Please help regarding Technical officer post (ECE).
I really don't have any idea from where I should prepare for the professional part as it is difficult to go through each and every subject.

recently i have appeared in uco bank it officer exam for tthe sake of experience....hence according to my analysis....
subs asked in professional knowledge
1.)computer network
2.)database mangement system
3.)data mining and ware housing
4.)very little knowledge of c,c++,java
5....

might be po level quant and reasoning , if you are asking about the professional knowledge no idea

Can anybody tell me what will be asked in the test, I mean Aptitude + ....?
I am from ECE.

there are a lot of books in market like mcq's by e kumar , guptas etc

And what about the preparation for Technical off post??

Yes banks do come with vaccancies for chemical enginers..but usualy they are very less in number and that not too frequent like PO..or IT Officer.
But u should give exam..as there are 19 banks and u may have chances as i dnt think many chemical engineers will be giving exams..so give a try...ATB

I dont think so...but yes there might be a possibility that few banks will come with the req as per urs qualification.so dont worry,just chillaxand enjoy till then

i think u r rite... i also searchd for some past vacancies of IT officer scale 1..and educational requirement for those were BE/B.tech in ec/cs/IT only.. i think Bsc walo ko shayad 19 me se 2-3 banks me hi apply karne ko mil paye..

I am a chemical engineer.Although I am eligible for The exam, do many banks come out with technical officer vacancies for chemical engineers?

Bro..there are hardly any chances that there will be a re examination.Although this year IBPS conducted re exam of CWE-PO..but it wasd bcoz itwas their first time..but i dont think that they will do this thing again..:nono:
As far as CET is concerned u have to think accordingly and take a risk...

As far as the language of adv is concerned any BSc/BCA Degree is sufficient ..for IT Officer Scale 1 provided the degree is in above mentioned streams...so PA_MBA ur eligible for IT officer but not for Tech Offficer.
Also i would like to tell one thing that im observing IT officer vaccancies ...

as per the above statements they haven't mentioned anywhere that it should be an engg. degree,so as per my view you are eligible.I think you are eligible for I.T. officer sc-1 and not for technical offficer because for that they have specifically mentioned that degree in engg. is required!!!!!!!!...

Will MBA in Marketing through distance education be valid for Marketing officer's post???

Guys , would the exam be conducted on single Day ,is there any chance of re conduct of the exam some other day. On the same day MAH-CET is also being conducted. it would be difficult to give two exams in single day :-(:-(:-(

as far as i know,both are same.Earlier the ECE(Elec & comm) used to be ETE(Elec & telecomm),so in some colleges this sub is studied as ECE and in some as ETE.So,dont worry and go ahead and apply

bhai as far as i know electronics and telecom and ECE both are same...but still i would say i will let you know about this matter after asking to some of my seniors...

Also.. in post code-01, both Elec. & telecomm. and Elec. & comm. are mentioned.
Are they different?
Can I apply for the post code-05? (I'm from Elec & comm.) but in post 05 only Elec. & telecomm students can apply.
I'm confused.

NO...because in notification it has been mentioned that you must have an degree by(or completed) 1.12.2011
but still i would suggest you to apply in it and take a 1st hand experience of exam it will help you a lot

Can final yr students give this xam?
