well...guys, now that last sem is over and most of us(future CTS employees) are twiddling our thumbs at home, lets start a thread on Cognizant Technology Solutions- joining date, training period, life post training period, long term plans of mba,m.tech et al. [smiley]
The offer letter in hardcopy is usually sent to the college placement department. Check with the PD folks. Usually takes 2-3 weeks to get it.
Hi i got selected in CTS through campus interview... so far i dodnt get ant confirmation mail or confirmation letter from them...pls guide me am very much scared of that...:( am doing my final year engineering in Madurai velammal college of Engg & Tech...
Please write an email to the HR group and follow up. Email id would be same as the one from the confirmation of Feb joining was sent. If you still don't get any reply after a week. Let me know, might be able to help.

@muthu847 if u still now received DOJ, then plz call them, mail them everyday, n if possible, visit any cognizant office, and talk to the HR, accompany other ppl like u, who havent yet got DOJ

How many got doj in the month of now can any one know about that....
passport/driving license/voted card for identification, copy of mail which states ur joining date n venue n time, couple of photos...pan card....relax..when u get DOJ, everything will be mentioned in the mail.
when there will be next batch..when they will complete onboarding in cts
what re the documents need to show at the time of DOJ . please give information about it .

wooh that's a relief :)and I am not from hyd and also they didn't mention any thing about languages in the email.that's good I hope.and also the more you wait the more are the chances that you won't get ITES.but sure they will give joining to each and everyone so you don't worry either.
@cralZy are you from Hyderabad? Did they mention the word "linguistic" in the email? If yes, then its ITES. If not, then congrats you got the IT joining mail. I am still waiting for mine, not in any hurry though.

I havn't been here for a long time now...I have got DOJ 26 Oct , hyd.but they didn't mentioned ITIS or anything else in the joining mail.one more doubt I have...I don't have a passport so will their be a problem?I applied for one but I have lost the application receipt so I don't have any proof...

This thread seems to have gone cold. Guys this is October, still not got joining date Is there anymore info? Why is it taking so long? I gave up my Wipro joining date last month in favor of CTS. I am so worried right now.

Hi all i am from bangalore , Amrita school of engineering and i had received join date as 24th may but i could not make it as my final project ppt was on 22nd at chennai and so i deferred the join date and now i am waiting for a call letter ............. it seems like i would be rejected as i had...
but i had no other option ....... so can any employee of CTS at the forum can tell whether i would lose the offer ??.......
