A) III B) IV C) I D) II

as a, b is in third quard, both a <0 & b<0.
hence -a>0,-b>0
and -b,-a will be in first quad ...ANS : C
no need to worry for the data ab>0

Most puys are raising voice for normalization.i have another alternative idea in mind

WE are expecting that this year around 1lac people will sail through tier1.I think it would be more more feasible if ssc raise this figure up to 1.2 or 1.5 lac for tier2.
I hope around 2 lac people are serious contender so most of them will get a fair chance to appear in tier2 exam to show thier mettle.l.
Most of Pcs exam follow scaling procedure in optional subject and i heard always controversial issues from pcs contenders regarding tis scaling procedure.
Again we do not know if ssc do it how they will follow it.............by section wise or for overall score...Even we will find a significant number of people unsatisfied form it.

The angles of elevation of the top of a tower standing on a horizontal plane from two points on a line passing through the foot of the tower at a distance 9 ft & 16 ft respectively are complementry angles, than the height of tower is
a) 9ft
b) 12ft
c) 16ft
d) 144 ft

ans should be 12 ft..take one angle as @ and second as 90-@..
u will get tan@=h/9 and cot@ =h/16..multiply both..

Sscchief is a wonderful person. Even anna hazare can not respond like him. The senior most officer of U.P. is Javed Usmani who is a 1977 batch IAS. Our chief is senior to him by 2 years as he is 1975 batch officer. I made a twitter account solely for reading and responding to his tweets. A great man. He deserves to be our prime minister but alas he is a bureaucrat not a politician. UPSC should also follow him both on twitter and in reality.
