I am B.com Graduate and currently working with Godrej in Commercial department....

Interested in CFA L-1....I will give CFA in June-2013 as I am also preparing for CAT-2012 in Nov.. so,it is very hard for me to doing CFA & CAT with the Job as i get only Sunday as a holiday...:oops:.:(

But,i like to participate in this thread and start slow and steadily preparation for June-2013....

I hope no one will mind and allow me to be part of this CFA Dec-2012...

i think if give around 3 hrs for weekdays and arnd 8 hrs on weekends for around 3-4 months u should easily clear the level 1..

got registerd for cfa l1 for dec 2012........ by any chance u from the the delhi region??

ipcc covers arnd 15% of the cfa l1 curriculm..and if u have read the Strategic Financial Management paper in CA Final then level 1 should be a walk in the park..... ethics and AI could give u some problems...

That said, I have very strict timings for my articles training and I want to know that if I'm able to do maybe 5 hours per day for 3 weekdays and 7 hours on weekends, how achievable would level one be?

The shipping charges for the books are included in the price they give. You have to just give the address to which the books should come.

An option of India as destination for examination will be added later for the December 2012 exam. This has been the trend for the past few years due to a legal tussle going on between CFAI (USA) and ICFAI.

I have heard that they add India some days before the exam. Due to some legal constraints.

So u can change ur exam center when they add India.
