hi guys.. this is my first post n m in a real situation.. I've been selected for IOB n my joining is on 5th Dec.. but the trouble is dat they ask a bond undertaking of Rs. 1 lacs for a minimum service of 3 years.. I ve also been selected for interviews for SBI PO, BOI MARKETING EXE SCALE 2, LIC AAO GENERALISTS.. all these interviews shall b over by first week of Jan.. and if i m successful then possibly may get posting by Apr( any guesses regarding posting date???) now would it b wise to join IOB now and break the bond of 1 lacs within 4-5 months of joining to shift to any of the 3 better opportunities? (Let me mention dat 1lac rupees is a considerable amt. for me).. or shall wait for the postings in any of these 3 opportunities and reject IOB PO offer now???... Kindly guide. ..

kya karein bhai exam mai rone se achha hai abhi dekh lun pata nahi kisne maths banayi aur banayi to competition exam mai kyon rakhvayi isi maths ki vajah se aaj tak naukari nahi lag payi kahi bhi job milne ke baad ye sab kam aata hai kya khali bachhon ko pareshan karte hai

halanki jinki maths top hai vl not agree wid dis to karo groan ...!

answ- for 1 hr
1/6+1/8=7/24
for 2 hour- 7/24 *2 =7/12
remaining= 5/12 work *8 =10/3 =3 1/3

questions can be based on more of d practical approach.

Anything from marketing A 2 Z. abt different products lyk how wud u sell dem widout Leads and all dat.

It's not a sitting job dese days even PO's used 2 do dis.

so, u shud have a sound knowledge and b confident dat's it and one needs 2 get gud marks according 2 d category out of 100. So Interview is of gr8 importance.

my answer is 3 1/3 hours now dat's why most of d time I hate maths and sometimes ssc also ye log to none of dese bhi nahi dete..!

Let the volume of the cistern be 24 lit

Efficiency of Pipe A is 4 lit/ hr

Efficiency of pipe B is 3 lit/hr

Combined efficiency of two pipes is 7 lit/hr.


Both the pipes are opened simultaneously, but after 2 hours pipe A is closed. - Means both work for 2 hrs then A leaves and B does the work left...

Tank filled in 2 hrs is 14 lit

Tank yet to be filled is 10 lit

Hence time taken to fill up the tank is 10/3 hrs....

Is there any link on the site of RBI where any list of eligible candidates for WE is published?? I'm worried if my application has reached them or not. Saale general post ka koi bharosa nahi hai. Is there any provision of dwnloading the admit card from site?? Plz help soon.

I think one option could be that ki result declare hone k baad all bank will start giving out notifications along woth no. of posts and eligibility criteria for applying like ki aapke CWE mai 60-70 % ya phir jitne unhe thik lage marks hone chaiye ....
phir ampng all those candidate who have applied bank can choose any no of candidate according to the no of posts like if there are 100 posts they can select top 300 who have applied.....

Now the candidate has to decide himself ki kon se bank ke liye apply karna aur kiske liye nahi...like a guy who got 80%, although he can apply to all banks ..buthe want to apply only in say PNB,BOB etc whatever his choice may be...

One query i have..although not very critical but phir bhi...kya CWE ke baad banks mai apply karne ke liye bhi fees lagegi ...just think for general cat

In this very short time I would suggest you to read Pratiyogita Darpan from January 2011 to December 2011.
There is no descriptive paper in Prelims. Once you clear Prelims then you have to face three papers of descriptive. Don't confuse your mind for mains now and start reading PD. Time is less. All The Best.

Can I get e copies of PD for all these months? in pdf format or e book format?

Bank Of India is asking for character certificates from 2 unrelated persons .. They have not given the format on the site so i have downloaded one from internet but dont know if this one will be sufficient or not .. those who have submitted these certificates in the interviews kindly put some light on this ... My interview is scheduled in Chennai..its on 14th..when is your interview by the way? have you ever attend specialist officer interview's of any other PSB? i am employed currently so are they going to ask me more from academics or from job related?
