yes buddy you need to submit minimum 2 character certificates,school character certificate wont do,u hav to get character certificate frm last college attnded.......no NOC from private job....and get 1 copy of attesation form and 1 copy of all your certificates atteseted......and bring unattested 3 copies of all the certificates and attestaion form....and chill man,the staff there is cooperative and if u dont hav any certificate they will take undertaking frm you...:)

IBPS shayad next time is problem ka koi solution nikaal lein...like common pool ya ranking etc etc...IBPS 1.0 was the beta version....testing ke liye market meein utaara gaya tha....aur ismein hum jaise log bali ka bakra ban gaye...

yaar..i think still thr z som catch in tis whole process bcoz d thing wiz we r talking abt same toppers getting calls from all d banks...means thr r approx 4000 toppers but banks hav already com up wid approx 5500 general vacancies...so i hope against hope these official must b thinking somthing and they mst b aware f d situation.

1 thing wiz i think these banks r gonna do is "Increase thr call ratio as d days pass by"....jo bank jitni late ayegi list lekar..unki call ratio utni hi jyada rahegi ranging frm 1:3 to 1:10(remeber United did tis previous year callin in ratio 1:10)..so itz surely possible.

main is area mein naya hoon lekin jahan tak mujhe dikhta hai,agar ye maan ke chalein ki banks is IBPS mein interested hain saare posts ko fill up karne ke liye,then,huge ratio to hona hi hai...1:8....1:10...1:12...is range ka...agar aisa hota hai,to banks ke liye 2 purposes solve hongi..........
1. saare log apply karenge (before any big recruiter like union bank declares its final list....taaki zyaada se zyaada business ho paaye from the application fees)
2. GD/PI bhi huge ratio mein hongin....to...in banks ko yeh hope rahega ki they can retain the toppers....yaani...inhen ye hope rahega ki ye toppers ko recruit kar paayenge aur toppers bhi inke hi bank mein stay kar jaayenge....agar toppers nahi rahe,then unke replacement mein toppers se thode kam marks waale...then usse bhi kam...then usse kam...is tarah se...they hope ki they would be able to recruit the best of talent available at that point of time...agar nahi hua to fir agle IBPS mein posts drag hongin........

As you know about 10000 posts already been declared by the various banks but their is a lot of confusion regrading the whole process. If a single candidate selected for various banks, then seats where wasted if he not join that particular bank.

Sir, i have a solution for that, Let talk to the banks and agree them for a common GD/PI process like the IIM are doing, so that Money, Time, Manpower all been saved easily and whole process goes smoothly.

I know many great minds are their for solving this problem but just look into this solution may be its a feasible one, many candidates can got job well ahead of time.

Let fill the application fee of that bank and come for the interview if you are shortlisted, make a pool of 6-7 banks at a time and conduct a process. I think its a better idea to select the candidates, no wasted of seats will be there.

oh i think they have changed it now.. when i wrote back in 2010 it was not like this... so change for the good.. !!!

after the 2009 fiasco they declared the admission policy before cat every year i really wish ibps does too

pnb doesn't ask for 60% in grads for specialist officers.. or else mai toh out ho jaati..they only want grads n post grads qualification bas

we are talking about po's here and who knows after this specialist ibps exam various banks might come up with diff percentage criteria's for spl officers

IIM'S also state their admission policy every year before the cat exam in which the various scores for various percentages in academics are given.

and in the case of ibps first to sit for the exam you just need to be a graduate but to go for interviews of diff banks like PNB canara etc somewhere you need 55% and somewhere 60% and also iim's dont charge for taking their interviews

but in that way, only economics ppl qualify for banks..even i had a paper - banking n finance...banks however ask for applications from all probable fields..so anyone can shift from any line to banking..or else bank recruiters would have narrowed the po recruitment to eco ppl only..this is though a very rude answer

but generally govt. borrow money..it doesnt ever prints money actually no govt.(economy) in world prints money to overcome deficit(recent eg. eurozone crisis, eurozone can print money to get the piigs outta crisis but no it is actually doing bailouts and lending(further) them only)..It can increase taxes and different sort of fees but in the next budget only..for ongoing budget year it borrows money..

this has come into the picture from 2009 only and before that people with lesser percentages and i mean real low have made the cut and come out big AND also IAS officers undergo training in IIM AND HBS and also and IAS and MBA FROM IIM have different responsibilities each in it's own construct and fulfilling that immense responsibility is not possible if the person in question has superficial qualities and mind you there are very good colleges like MDI XLRI Which dont take academics into consideration.

ITS maily THE IIMS THAT LOOK FOR SUPERFICIAL THINGS... 80% + IN 10TH , 12TH , GRAD.. in addition to getting that 98 percentile in CAT... if they need people like that with such background and if they believe its right way... theN y would ias toppers be in mediocre 70 percentages(in most cases 60's too) in 10th,12th, grad??? in what way a manager of a corporate be more responsible than the manager of a district( i mean the district collector and police commissioner here)??? so its IIMS who go for superficial and they might have their own reasons... its the govt sector that take into consideration the average students as well and give them a chance to excel even though how bad their past academic performances are... !!!

this has come into the picture from 2009 only and before that people with lesser percentages and i mean real low have made the cut and come out big AND also IAS officers undergo training in IIM AND HBS and also and IAS and MBA FROM IIM have different responsibilities each in it's own construct and fulfilling that immense responsibility is not possible if the person in question has superficial qualities and mind you there are very good colleges like MDI XLRI Which dont take academics into consideration.

and if the govt is so considerate then why are the banks like pnb etc asking for 60% which is also high for various deserving candidates and that too after considering that ibps had just asked for graduation.

hmm..very correctly said..superlike..my conclusion was from personal experience

not all hrs are good ..and we can not expect them to be so..and not all hrs are bad too,,,
we have to be ready for all situation..
answer should be like that suits both type of hrs.
who knows we may meet bad hrs who doesn't like our truth..

see you should clarify obviously IIM'S OR OTHER GOOD COLLEGES would never look for superficial things or qualities otherwise they wont be good and wouldnt produce people raghuram rajan sanjeev bhikchandani et al and maam another point PO's are at the manager level and believe me they are leaving psu banks in swarms

arrey offence word aise hi use kar liya socha nahi maine kuchh..tension mat le..but i had that sort of an experience from two top mba colleges in India..i wish i cud name them in public..waise chhor na..jo hua achhe ke liye hi hua

some colleges do...trust me they do..not the iims for sure, but some top 25 colleges do.... however, no offence meant..personal opinion

I know honesty is the best policy,and out of honesty, if i say them that I did my engg. and after completing 4yrs I got to know that technical is not my cup of tea and I cultivated myself and I found that I am passionate about banking sector..then I can be badly humiliated you know..

So according to me interview is not only about being honest ..it is more about not concealing the truth and not telling a lie.. u have to obtain a median path..formulate your answer accordingly..

but in that way, only economics ppl qualify for banks..even i had a paper - banking n finance...banks however ask for applications from all probable fields..so anyone can shift from any line to banking..or else bank recruiters would have narrowed the po recruitment to eco ppl only..this is though a very rude answer

same can be controlled by either increasing the revenues by increasing taxes or by reducing spending.

but generally govt. borrow money..it doesnt ever prints money actually no govt.(economy) in world prints money to overcome deficit(recent eg. eurozone crisis, eurozone can print money to get the piigs outta crisis but no it is actually doing bailouts and lending(further) them only)..It can increase taxes and different sort of fees but in the next budget only..for ongoing budget year it borrows money..
