While those Officers who achieve the predetermined standards may be confirmed and given placement in the next higher grade i.e. Officer Middle Management Grade Scale II, others who qualify the test but fail to achieve the standards set for placement in Middle Management Grade Scale II, will be confirmed as Officer Junior Management Scale Grade I. The services of those Officers who fail to qualify in this process will be terminated.

hi i m sbi po of batch 2010....yes there were same terms & conditions....

but bank give 2 chances to clear po confirmation exam.....so don' worry...concentrate on ur gd andinterview and read newspapers like the hindu,economic times daily and try to speak 2-3 min daily on particular topic then u can easily clr gd....and in interview they can ask anything....

and if one get 75% marks in confirmation then they become eligible for scale -2

job profile of po already discussed in this thread long ago also in sbi asst manager batch 2010 thread work details & remuneration package of po had been explained in details,so am not going to discuss it again ,yes about gd/pi i can help it out,just pm me your personal email id with your questions & please be patience you will get what you want after some days

okkkkk.......you want to have the cake and eat it as well!

What i suggest is try delaying your joining in IOB on health or some other grounds.My favourite medical problem is that i am suffering from back problems and can't move much.

The marks of group discussion and interview will be put together and the candidates who secure minimum 40% marks (minimum 35% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD) in group discussion and interview will be considered for final selection. The candidate will have to pass both in Phase I & II separately. Phase I & Phase II marks will be aggregated and arranged in descending order (category wise) for candidates who have qualified in both the phases separately and depending on the vacancies, selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.

Either call SBI Hr or wait for a few days , if U r selected U will get an Interview call letter....

Try to get extension from IOB. But if you don't have solid reason, then most probably they wont provide you extension, then in that case-

I would suggest you to follow your second thought,i.e, join IOB and let it go if you get selected for SBI, because leaving final job offer of IOB is not wise decision.

sapna - PLS DONT LEAVE THE OFFER IN HAND! REGARDING SBI, STILL U HAVE TO LONG WAY TO GO!

IF YOU CAN CLEAR GDΠ AND SUCCESSFUL IN FINAL RESULTS THEN PAY THE BOND AMOUNT AND GET OUT OF IOB. BUT STILL MY SINCERE ADVICE IS BE HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE ACHIEVED NOW. THAT GIVES YOU MORE CONFIDENCE AND SECURITY WHILE FACING THE GDΠ OF SBI AND U CAN EVEN CRACK IT.

I M Happier than my final selection of IOB.............I AM IN FOR STATE BANK OF INDIA-MY dream organisation.


Last year I was not eligible for giving exam(not have 60% in 12th) , but this year I gave and cracked the exam.......happy happy happy.......

woooooowwwwwww culd just not believe my luck on this very day cleared SBI PO....missed on it last year(did not give it:()..i am just so happppyyy...this is my dream bank(after rbi and nabard.)...congos to all those who made it..do well in interviews...i wuld be giving this one (after missing in on about 6 or so interviews as i am already in syndicate.),,,but this is an opportunity of a life time wont miss it at any cost....
