I wandered through a lot of thread and found that the general suggestion is to start with Quant and then move to verbal. Reason given was that the rules for verbal are difficult to remember/retain than quant, and doing quant early gives ample time to practise.

I have started with English preparation. I find myself doin not that in RC.
CR seems to be a bit tricky.
But SC is what gives me real pain specially the Idiomatic expressions.

Hi,

GMAT does not require any coaching. The quants is very simple but the verbal is pretty tough. Not to worry coz there are lot of books which will guide u to sail through verbal as well as quantz. I would suggest u start wid the basics(Formulas and understanding of English grammar). U can then use books such as OG12(Must), Manhattan SC(Must) and Powerscore CR(Very Helpful) for preparation.

i too started with kaplan, Princton, and OG but as am working too in SW so thats takes charge away...so m looking for a seroius study partner in south delhi to keep the momentum up/ do u belong to south delhi? or u know someone there looking for same?

Start with princeton or kaplan for basic intro.
Princeton too easy , kaplan is quality.
after that move to the OG11.
