Hi, I am planning to write GMAT this year.. Looking to join a prep course as well as availing Assisted Services for Applications. have got quotation from IMS Salt Lake at 37,000/- for both services and 30k n 22,900 for GMAT and Application services separately. Roads is offering only GMAt prep at 25k. Any reviews suggestions would be very helpful.

I still havent found the ultimate one minute explanations book though, how at the time of preparation every book seems most important mostly if you dont have it...

I am new to this forum and am planning to take the GMAT in Dec'12. On researching for GMAT prep centres in Kolkata, I got to know about a new GMAT prep centre named Merit Land Learning Centre opening in Alipore in Kolkata by an IIM-A grad, who is herself originally from Kolkata and had scored high on the GMAT too. The centre will become fully functional by 21st May and the courses will start. The IIM-A grad will take sessions and will herself mentor students.

They are doing free sessions too for people to come down and attend. Only if you are satisfied, do you have to join. They have very good prep material and complete admissions counselling. I attended a free session and have decided to enroll. I am not from any coaching centre and since free sessions are being given, I thought of sharing details with you all. If any of u are interested, then you can call on +and find out the details.

I need some suggestion... I have just started my GMAT prep but am confused as to what should I study??? :(
There are so many online resources, sites, practice tests... it is all so confusing... :(
Can anyone please tell me how should I begin my prep?? Should I prepare from books(hard copy) or resources available online?? Though I don't find ebooks of good materials such as Kaplan,Princeton can be downloaded free... plz help
