Does anyone know of a full time CFIB graduate from Wisconsin? I am trying to get more information about the program.

I didn't hear anything from the adcom by the date for decision release, so I decided to ask them what was going on. It turned out that my application wasn't processed because of the lack of my undergrad transcript and official GMAT score report. It's ridiculous since I e-mailed the adcom to ask specifically about these items before submission and got the answer that they wouldn't be required until admission!

The program direction asked me to e-mail my transcript over. So now I'm waiting again...

I don't think Wisconsin emphasizes diversity anyway. Small class size is one thing. Just take a look at the profiles of students in the CFIB specialization and you'll see that the vast majority of those are Americans, which is quite easy to comprehend. Home students should be prioritized and I am not complaining about that :|

I had my interview last Wednesday. Went well. It was more of a conversation.

Got the decision mail today. Admitted with some scholarship.

I too have applied for madison in Supply chian management. I applied in the second round and havent heared from them yet. My concern is as the class size is less than 15, how much is the probability to have more than 1 indian in the same incoming class. My GMAT score is less 680. so a bit skeptic on the positive response from the school. Do you have any idea, a candidate with score 680 getting selected into SCM in previous years.

I am totally clueless about this year.. not only here but about other schools too! In last year's batch there were two Indians and one of the two is the thread starter (Check out the Grainger center site). I dont think they are that particular about GMAT, going by my waitlist.. So if your profile is good I think you stand a good chance.

Each specialization has its own people doing the interviews and deciding admits etc.. so what happened with me does not apply to you since you are not trying for SCM.. And my interview was conducted just 10 days prior to the admission decision. And regarding GMAT, I dont think it matters during admission that much. Anything between 710 to 760 carries almost the same weight. Purely personal opinion based on my experiences this year. It might slightly affect you scholarship, thats all! I am sure you have seen class profiles of finance and only 3 people had more than 750 in the last 7 years!!!

Having heard about your situation, I am quite worried about my application, too. My GMAT is just 750 and I applied for the Corporate Finance & Investment Banking specialization. I still haven't heard from the adcom yet. Isn't it quite close the the decision date already?

I think the reason is the no. of places. They only take around 10 students per year in SCM and so its just 1 or at best 2 places for Indians. I am just waiting for March 15, when they declare results for 2nd round..

Nope..no news. I have given up. And even if i hear back from them now..it will too late to wrap up the visa issues.
