Hi,

Well, I think you need to think about what are your friend's expectations from the PGPM programme. Your friend already has a post graduate degree and is already in a managerial position. Though the overall profile looks competitive (academics can be balanced by work ex), I would urge him (or you) to take a look at the program architecture listed given on our website. Especially, look at the finance customization subjects offered. If these subjects will help you in filling up the void what your friend is looking for, then, I think it would be a good option.

I am a govt servant with 20 yrs of work ex in communication and IT. Age 40 +, GMAT 640/4.5, B Tech (Electronics and Communication) with CGPA of 6.58/9.

Fond of reading, travelling, trekking etc. Participated in sports and x country runs at school and college level.

Am looking at SP Jain PGPM course starting Jan 2012. What are my chances...Please advise

I also would like to know about the placements. How did it go for last time (batch passed in 2010 end)and what are the steps being taken for placements of current batch. As per my understanding application happens in July and Interviews in Aug. When will the course start in Jan?
