Hi Nothing Much,
To be honest, I am not aware of the colleges outside India, can any one please help me with pointers/information as to which one she should go for? I'm not sure if your friend's enrolled into the course 2 months since your post, but I'd like to share my response with you, other fellow forumers can reference this if they've similar questions.
In short, my answer to your friend would be to choose NUS. Why?
1) Rankings and Accreditation -

2) Many scholarships programs
16 different scholarships that subsidises your tuition fees or pay for it in full
3) Top University in Singapore
NUS is the top Singaporean University - Singapore is globally renowned for its education system and focus on academics - the university is backed by the Singaporean government, and all the MNCs with offices in Singapore recognize an NUS degree as a prestigious certification.
4) Privileged Attachment Programs
Students in NUS get many opportunities to be attached to big global companies - a friend of mine who studied communications and new media in NUS got attached to
Lucasfilm Singapore.
Many students from NUS Business School (it's where you get your MBA) get job offers upon graduation, they often go on to work in big banks, government organisations, Government owned companies - Singtel, Singapore Press Holdings, and many other MNCs with local offices here - Microsoft, Google, etc. An academic certification from NUS is very prestigious.
