Same here...after doing ISB I was juts bloody so lethargic that couldnt even apply to NUS....now when ISB dimgs me on 15th I will be in deep shit...gotto think ll over again ...just screwed up my chances man!!

When did you receive call from ROSS? When is the i/v?
I like the school...but perhaps did not do well in the appli.

Buddy, you got a call from HBS... over 60% of those i/v get selected... Just go and give a good interview... Chances of converting a call statistically at HBS is higher than at ISB...

When someone said "Great minds think alike" he didnt surely mean that 90 percent of the people will be great. Today the scenario is like that only. 9 out of ten guys are in the s/w industry and its not that I am insulting anyone or any industry.it is just that the stats dont work the way we want them to. business school always wants to diversify the pool so that you learn from your peers. if everybody/most of the people belong to the same industry and sector dont you think learning will suffer.and to your relief its the s/w, finance people only who make up the lot inside schools as well. so i would suggest instead of the number you should go for the percentage. Hope noone feels offended.

Plan 1 - Apply to to ISB/Wharton/Columbia/Ross/Queens/Harvard

ISB interview call came in mid dec delayed my plan to apply to Queens - delayed it to R3.

So once I was getting ready to apply to Queens- Got IV calls from Ross and Harvard

So decided not to apply to queens...

now thinking since havent received calls from Wharton or Columbia I should apply to LBS!!! ... waiting for ISB results to either check the plan if I get IN or give me the inspiration to apply if i get Dinged!!

Its been so busy for the past 4 months that i want a break!!!

hope 15th will put an end to my apprehensions!!!

isb interview call broke all my momentum and i missed all the deadlines in january second half.....i didnt feel lyk going for anything else.....

Ok..i was being optimistic...and then there is so much uncertainty about getting through that I wanted to get off the uncertainty post 15 feb...
Its 10th now.... and we have almost 5 days....results would be expected at this time after exactly 5 days.....!!!!

And ofcource, do we ever get offs? I heard in one of the info sessions that given that ISB is a 1 year program, there are no offs (not even on Diwali!).... so we need to come packed for a year????

I had a question though...now that I am totally wella and can't do anything, but wait.... when do we need to reach ISB Hybd (assuming we selected!!!).... I understand the session starts on 14th April...but somewhere someone mentioned 9th April...

but deep down all know that a chance to relive good ol days every weekend is something that keeps all pumped up to slug it out during the application stages... I guess its same for every MBA college

Better come prepared for surviving the whole year in the same place... u may get 2-3 days off between.. if you want a more details, read out here
