Hi everyone,
I had my interview yesterday at Delhi, in the afternoon.
I interviewed with Panel 1,
My Profile:
27, Indian, IT , Male
Acads: BTech and MTech from IIT (Dual degree). CFA Level 1
3 yrs in startups, 2 yrs working on my own firm.
Extra currics: BAD
The waiting room had a decent feel, chatted a bit with other candidates.
Essay word was Motivation.
My interview started on time, there were 2 people in the panel, One older guy and the other one a young lady (seemed more like a current student or a recent alumini ).
Q. Take us through your profile
Q. Tell me something about your last job challenges.
Q. Tell me about your current venture.
A lot of cross questioning on it, as to the business plan, current costings, future plans.
Grilled me quite a lot on why MBA is not required in my case, was kind of getting difficult to put across my point as he hardly gave me space to put across my views.
Post this grilling, the lady asked biggest challenge to date and how did i handle it..
A brief discussion on the same, and then the usual ending question, any questions for us.
I asked them one which i had thought.
The prof while leaving simply asked, if i will return to my venture immediately post ISB, I told him yes.
Overall, reflecting back, the interview could have gone much better, in a lot of areas, but it could have gone a lot worse too.
so now the wait begins,
best wishes to every1 else out there.
