A little late but hopefully it will still be helpful to people preparing for their interviews and R2 applications.

Panel 2 (Lady and a class of 2003 Alum)
Length: ~30 mins
After the alum introduced himself as Class of 2003, I started off by saying "wow..that was sometime back. How does it feel?" Unfortunately for me, he took it a little negatively and said "he wasn't that old" and the lady commented don't tell him when I graduated or else I don't know what he will say...
So not the best of start and got me a little nervous but I recovered after a couple of Qs.
1) Is the company I work in a family business?
2) How did I get the job?
3) A few questions related to the company, i.e. max/average loan size, duration and stuff.
3) After working in internationally in a big firm, why join such a small company.
4) So over the last 18 months have you tried looking for a better job? (I corrected that I have only been here for 1 year. No idea how the lady came up with 18 months.)
5) Why MBA? What after MBA?
6) Elaborate further on your venture. Quite detailed with lot of cross questioning.
7) Are you willing to sign on the dotted line that you won't look for a job after graduation, and start your venture. (This was a bummer because I had just explained the whole time line and the venture was 5-7 years down the road after I get some industry experience so it makes me think that either I wasn't clear enough or he was sleeping. Either way it doesn't work well for me.)
8 What companies I was targeting? (Consulting)
9) What are the key qualities of a consultant?
10) Each of the 496 students have xxx company as their first choice. Only 10-14 get through it. (I said I have good reason to put them in the order I did and asked if I should explain but neither of them seemed interested and were looking to wrap it up).
11) So how do you unwind/do in your free time?
Asked a couple. Overall impression was that they weren't quite impressed because I changed from a major US firm to a small 10 people firm, and even asked why have you not tried to change companies yet.
I could have handled it a little better but whats done is done. I will wait and watch what happens next.
