I have moved the data to 'copy of sheet 1' and made it protected. You can add the new data to 'sheet 1' and I'll periodically update it in 'copy of sheet 1' . You can still use all the data for any of your analysis. You can download the data from ''copy of sheet 1' using File->download option of the Google Docs application.

I don't quiet agree with the claim that the Delhi dates have been shifted in view of Ayodhya verdict. It may be very logical for congress party to shift their zonal conference because of that issue but not ISB.
I just talked to the one of the ISB Adcom people and they said that the schedule has been shifted because of the rush expected in Delhi due to commonwealth games. The guy said that they had an info session three days back and they had faces a lot of difficulty in commuting so imagine the difficulty faced by the people who r gonna come to Delhi for an interview at that time.
And I think this is a very plausible reason for shifting the dates and at the same time it shows the concern these people have for the candidates.

One of my friend was in touch with some senior adcom people for changing his interview location from Hyderabad to Delhi since he shifted to delhi a month back.

3 days before, adcom people informed him that the interview schedule will be changed for delhi applicants on account of Ayodhya verdict coming on 24th september only (just a day before the delhi interviews). Since they had faced a big trouble last year due to Telanagana issue at hyderdabad and had to reschedule most of their interviews, may be they dont want to repeat the same this year. Even congress has delayed their zonal conference in view of the same issue :biggrin:.

Well all i can say is that even though the delay for delhi candidates is positive interms of more time to prepare and also getting feedback from our friends who will be attending hyd interviews, it has certainly thrown certain plans out of the place for few people

Anyways ATB for hyd candidates, do share ur experiences...at the same time delhi candidates can enjoy the festive season :)

Lets not get into the fact that what will be the ratio of no of seats in R1 vs R2 as for a school like ISB it makes no sense to give admissions on the account of speculation that R2 will receive more and better apps.

Also i dont think they will release the list. They will maintain that sanity of 3-7 days before notification across all locations.

Soumya, though your work-ex puts you in a very competitive pool of IT applicants, but there are definite streaks of differentiation. Here's the challenge i have for your profile. You mention 3 very very different areas of specialization.

As I have mentioned in my previous posts, you need to be clear on what you want to do and then see whether there is a logical flow with what you've done so far. For instance, if you want to go into brand management post MBA, you can mention that you are very creative because of xyz things youve' done (film making, writing etc etc).

You need to put in a strong pitch to ensure that the profile comes across as a multi-faceted one rather than pure vanilla IT profile!

As far as I'm concerned that's good news for me. The way I look at it that I'll get more time to prepare for the interview, have a few more mocks with people etc. So ya this is good news for me.
At the same time, I'll have some inputs from people who have already given the interview till that time. So I think this change is scenario is a blessing in disguise. You know , now Delhi people will be more informed about the interview and consequently be better prepared for the same.

I am not claiming that what you've said is baseless. But i suggest you guys visit last year aspirants threads. You'll find exactly the sort of speculations flowing all over the forum :biggrin:
I am not sure how much aware the current students are about such policy matters. besides we should stop worrying about the things beyond our control and start preparing for interviews.

on a more serious note , could be the relatively lower apps in R1 that has prompted a change in schedules, in fact I heard at ISB that its not necessary they will go in for a 50 - 50 seat allocation if they feel that R2 will see more apps and having a higher wait list for R1 and actually lower admits is a real possibility ....

Yes, I think so.. I think last year interview invites were sent on weekends.

Well no one over here are from AdCom so I doubt anybody can guess your chances over here. However you are eligible to apply and your chances are as good (I know I am being politically correct) as the rest of the applicants.. basically the your entire career, ECs, Acad, Gmat etc etc etc and finally how you sell yourself through your application will decide your chances. ATB.

A couple of questions.

Would that be for everybody or for some specific locations, like where the interviews will happen earlier.
The calls would be person specific i.e a person getting a call will be notified 3 to 7 days before his interview date.

Also, are the interview mails sent on a rolling basis or all at once? The ISB comm says that the mails would be sent 3 to 7 days before the interview, is per applicant or for the entire applicant pool.
