Hello seniors...ive got d admit offer..but really confused...only u cn help me (n others who r a bit confused) take d decision..
kindly confirm the following:
Banks n Finance companies who have taken part in placements dis yr n avg pakage n profile offerd by thm...(if u cnt disclose d figures, atleast coment on which banks have come n d profile)..(ive 3.2 yrs of bankin experience)
as per placements 11..only 20-25 ppl out of 296 (dats less than 10%) got package more than 11 lak...dats a concern...ur views..??
is Gr8 lakes xpected 2 jump d laders in b school rankings or GLIM dosnt believe in d ranking concept..??

A few questions on the front, when a candidate decides to withdraw candidature after confirming the provisional admission offer...

a) If the candidate withdraws candidature before the commencement of course, in how much time is the entire amount refunded? I think the refund policy is in terms with AICTE rules...probably fees submitted minus 1K would be given back..pls correct me if i'm wrong?

b) If the candidates withdraws candidature after the commencement of course..say towards end of April, what's the procedure for refund..how much amount would be refunded since the entire amount would have been paid by 6th april?

Pls enlighten us on these aspects, if would be a gr88 help and would go a long way in helping us decide regarding the same..

1) Yes, the refund process would start immediately once you send out a mail with the details.

b) I think that there would be no refund if you decide to withdraw after commencement of the course. You can mail admissions to confirm this.

Provisionally does not mean anything much, it just means that if you fail to pay the fees or something then your candidature would be rejected.

For others who have not received their mails, check your spam as well. If you have not received any mails it means you are wait listed and if any of them who have been selected choose not to join Great Lakes, then you will be considered. The website will be updated by tomorrow evening.

There would be no waitlist number. Frankly there is very less chance for those who have not got an admit from Great Lakes and are in the wait list. It would be very tough to provide a last date for WL candidates because a selected candidate might withdraw at any point in time.

Regarding the loans, there was a document link provided couple of pages before. The best bet would be to call a couple of banks and know their policies and make your own decisions.
