And i received a mail today about Financial Aid and it said that the Merit Scholarship decisions will be released on March 23rd.

Just a small correction, I applied in Jan deadline... I'm so sick and tired of juggling between work and MBA admissions that I don't even remember when I applied :P

They invited people for interview last year...but this year they have changed their policy and they now interview every applicant. So now it is the responsibility of the applicants to schedule an interview.

Actually I'm a reapplicant and last year I got an interview invite from Adcom to schedule an interview.
There is an option to schedule an interview on the website of UNC... the invite which you are waiting for is separate from that?

When you say "dinged" you mean you got an email from them specifying this? I have also applied here and have scheduled interview in 1st week of Feb... how long does it take them to declare the result?
