Scholarships are only for studnets who have been offered a place in the GMBA program.

If offered admission then you have to submit a separate application for scholarship

As you mentioned in one of the replies that SPJAT happens in Singapore but only for the residents.
If people are not residents that means they cannot give the test there??
As i am travelling to SG for some assignment i am planning to give the test in SG....will it not be possible for me to give the test.

Sometimes they might keep you on Hold because of the Number of Applications they have and on the basis of Work Experience.
They are going to have another Written on 26th Sept 2009,Probably after that you might get a call.

There is no standard negative marking.. It is variable by questions.. Please go through the
S.P.Jain Center of Management - Dubai . Singapore for more about SPJAT.

Is it too late to apply for Nov 2009 intake? I submitted my application on Sep 16th. I know that there is a round of evaluations going on on Sep 20. I could see in this thread that for Dec 2008 & Apr 2009 intake, there were three rounds of evaluations each. So, is there any chance that there is any chance for another round for evaluations?

Since you have already been through the evals in the last intake - the Admissions Committee is probably taking longer to evaluate your application inorder to assess what has changed significantly in your profile overthe last 6 months

I had applied for SPJAIN with a score of 640 in GMAT...I have 3.5 years of experience in a very reputed Indian IT firm..I have decent acads and lots of extra curricular activities to my credit...I had applied with my CAT score of 80.4 percentile in April 09 and had got a call for the evals... This time however even after having 6 months additional exp and some more extra curricular activities I have been waitlisted in the Initial screening....Is it because of my score or due to some other reasons....Here is my April 09 appln no. 29669 PMM....I would be grateful if you could provide me with some feedback so that I can work on the area where I lack.....

You can gpo ahead and apply but since your GMAT score does not meet our requirements - hence you will have to take the SP Jain internal aptitude test to be conducted around the 3rd week of Sept 09 - the details will be updated on our website next week

Received lot of certificates from clients for accomplishments.

Extra Curricular activities: Was always involved in college fest activities but never at the certificate levels. Was also the member of Placement Committee in final year.

You need not take the test again as you havea score that meets our requirements and your score is not the reason for your waitlist it is most likely your shortfall of your owrk ex.

It will not affect your chances for the April 09 intake
