While filling the online Application form for SPJCM, for April-09 intake.

In the columns of Professional Achievement & Co curricular Achivements, the word limit specified is 250 words max., but it shows that we have crosses the word limit after 250 characters.

Plz. make sure that the error is rectified because 250 characters are too less to clearly define the said roles & achievements.

Hence, the fate of graduating MBA students this year and in 2009 looks bleak......

1) I cannot comment on whether CAT 06 scores will be accepted for April 09. Pls wait until early next week as this information will be updated on our website by then.
2)Yes we will definitely consider work experience at a client location
3) You may go ahead and apply for IB with an IT background - we have had students in the past who have switched but you must have valid reasons for doing do
4) We do not foresee any difficulty in placing our students inspite of the current situation

We would consider work ex as full time only post your graduation. I would suggest that you go ahead and send in your application and only then would the Admissions Committee be in a position to take a decision on your application after considering your profile as a whole.

We do not have any fixed no of seats that we merely have to fill - we are more interested in finding the right candidates who meet our unique requirements. Well we have had a lot of candidates who have been offered spez which are different from their work ex/academic backgrounds.

We have now closed admissions for the Dec 08 intake. Hence if you wish to be reconsidered then you may reapply for the April 09 intake. You are free to reapply esp if you fell that there has been a substantial change in your application.

I failed to impress the PI panel on oct 12, as i come from research background and did not know the exact explanation for various supply chain terms, although i really appreciate its value in any organisation or even daily life, and i felt, if given a chance i can do a good job in that field... nonetheless, i also, find spjain a superb boost to one's career, (its strategic locations itself testifies how superbly the whole mba is designed!) a fact that many admitted students also do not appreciate ( as understood from their posts) and hence, i am keen on applying once again for same specialisation, but on speaking to admission counsellor in ILO, i learnt that if i apply for same spec, my chances of being called for evals reduce.. kindly confirm this.

Madam, i wish to state that I found PI very demanding, (this cud be due to high competition) so does that mean that spjain doesnot help those who look for switching their careers? i earnestly wish to work as scm expert, kindly guide me as to how feasible is it to get another chance of proving my candidature,

I appeared on 12th october for interview and i made it to the final round through dean sir , but still i did nt get any status , i lost mine registration detial so not able to check online , few of known fellows who appeared on 11th or 12th have got their confirmation letter , mine interview was good , please tell whether all seats have been filled for SCM . i was the only candiate of mine batch to make dean interview for SCM out of 20 and was pretty hopeful as things went - - - i am too anxious and nervous.. . please respond shpuld i be hopeful

My application number for the December 08 Intake is 25248 - IT. I had appeared for the interviews on August 30th and have been waitlisted since then. Its been a long long wait since then and my status remains unchanged. When is the final decision of the admission team expected to be out on the same? And also will the status be updated to Reject if I dont make it, or will it just remain unchanged as a Waitlist.

Additionally I scored a 97 percentile on the SP Jain Aptitude Test. Would this score remain valid if I wish to reapply for the immediate intake in May or does this score become defunct once the admissions for the December intake close.

Once an evaluation date is firmed up by us, you would be getting a call for evaluation e-mail giving full details of when your evaluation has been scheduled for. If you do not get the same within a reasonable period of time, we suggest that you mail us on gmba@spjain.org. Post your evaluation, we suggest you check this link to check on the result of the evaluation process. It would take us 2-3 weeks post your evaluations to update the site with your status."

I was waiting for a correspondence from your end (as stated on your site), but i did not get any Email or call for an evaluation schedule. I have also written to gmba@spjain.org asking for a schedule.

Today i see you have closed admissions without even considering my application after shortlisting me.
Is it because i applied too late i.e 19th sep?
Or i should wait for a schedule form your end?

I was waiting for a correspondence from your end (as stated on your site), but i did not get any Email or call for an evaluation schedule. I have also written to gmba@spjain.org asking for a schedule.

Today i see you have closed admissions without even considering my application after shortlisting me.
Is it because i applied too late i.e 19th sep?
Or i should wait for a schedule form your end?

Would be great if you can look into it and let me know my exact application status.

Hi,

THe evaluations held on the 11/12 of OCt 08 was the lat round for the Dec 08 intake. Students who applied on the 6th and were shortlisted received a call on the 7th of Oct 08 itself.

There will be no further rounds of evaluations for the Dec 08 intake. students who have not heard from us till now may reapply for the April 09 intake when we open for admissions for the same

Hi Shwetha,
My application number for the December 08 Intake is 25248 - IT. I had appeared for the interviews on August 30th and have been waitlisted since then. Its been a long long wait since then and my status remains unchanged. When is the final decision of the admission team expected to be out on the same? And also will the status be updated to Reject if I dont make it, or will it just remain unchanged as a Waitlist.

Additionally I scored a 97 percentile on the SP Jain Aptitude Test. Would this score remain valid if I wish to reapply for the immediate intake in May or does this score become defunct once the admissions for the December intake close.

Yes Shwetha the same person I dint know you are the same person.. Thanks anyways for ur help.I mailed GMBA asking for a feedback but that was of no use. All I can say is I shall apply again for the Apr intake since Im pretty determined to get a MBA degree. But yes, thanks so much for talking at that time wehn I most needed it!!
