All my frens on the forum,have a question.Request all to kindly pour suggestions after going through my profile below as i am wondering whether i should reschedule my GMAT Exam date ie 29-Sep-2007 to some other time:
My question & details are as follows:
******************************************************
After having prepared for two months,i couldnot improve much on score front for most of the mock tests(GMAC from mba.com & the paper based test from the same source).I am scoring in the range of 620-660 and in one Kaplan test that i gave,i got 540 only.
Now to brief about my profile:-
Working since Jun-2003 till date in ORACLE applications (ERP) as techno functional consultant (starting with INFOSYS & currently with MERRILL LYNCH)
ELECTRONICS & TELECOM engineer
Acads :- B.E-->75%
12th --> 74%
10th--> 78%
Curriculars include dramatics,sports (participated & lead teams) ,activities like education camps etc.

Assuming ,and more so being so near to exam date,if i get any such score in range of 640-68-,I am worried that with such dismal score WOULD I BE ABLE TO MAKE IT TO A DECENT Bschool ,as initially schools of the like GSB,USC-Marshall,ISB,CEIBS & INSEAD(Singapore) which all i wanted to apply seemingly would be remotely receptive to my app.
In such a case what would be my chances to presenting a good app to schools like NUS,SPJCM(Dubai-Sinigapore),INSEAD(Singapore), and any other good Bschools(which any of you is welcome to suggest me) .
Request all to kindly mail /pm/ post your advice as i am less informed about the choices of schools to be made in this score range .
Also keeping in view that i would be very well held up with my office work till 30thOctober(ie entire month of October),is it anyways advisable to reschedule my exam date some time in november.Kindly advice .
I know i have put across a bit detailed presentation,but i deemed it neccessary in order to get really good insights from all PGmates in order to avoid any mistake in the initial round itself
Thanks to all of you who have invested time in reading this & are helpin me in resolving this dilemma.

As kunal said..u'd be late for R1 round...U can app for R2 though..but u wud be hard pressed for the time one takes to think thru the essays..u can have a idea of wat u want to do and how to go abt writing the essays...when u have got free time, go thru other sites and blogs of ppl who have secured admission to top colleges. U can get an idea of apping thru their blogs too..
In singapore...one can app to colls like NUS, nanyang..Insead (it has a campus there) would be a gr8 choice...
BTW could you share your profile with us..if u dont mind??
