Del Potro isn't the same guy who used to be in 2007that was his best year, the way he stormed into the US open final n won it said a lot about this Argentinehe had everything which his fellow countryman Nalbandian lacked but an unfortunate knee injury changed it once n for allhe was beast then
@Ddk that chance will come too, it is early in the season but surely he will have to face and defeat Djokovic, Murray if he wants to win more tournaments
Ddk
@vinz007 ...good he won bt wud have liked him to face Djoko rather den Porto
So, Rafa has won the Indian Wells Masters, brilliant comeback considering it was on hard courts .. he looks set to have more good times considering the upcoming clay court tournaments in Europe
Happy to see a Rafa win. But everyone knew that Fed was having back problems. The real test awaits Rafa in SFs against Berdych. And if he gets to the final, the ultimate test would be to square up agaainst his nemesis - Djokovic who relishes Rafa and hard courts.
Nadal defeats Federer 6-4. 6-2 in the Indian Wells QFs, Federer was bothered by a back injury .. Nadal improves his head to head record to 19-10
There you go!!! Blockbuster QF set up at Indian Wells b/w Fed and Nadal. The tennis rivalry is ON!!! How many times have they met each other before a final/SF? Once/twice Who will emerge on top ?

Rafael Nadal blasted past top-seed and defending champion David Ferrer 6-0, 6-2 in Saturday’s final of the Mexican Open in a powerful performance that indicated he has quickly returned to near his best after a long-term knee injury.
Rafa is Back. Hope he does well in IW.

I think as a Tennis fan I do not expect him to beat Murray/Nole/Fed right now even on Clay. And He has echoed the same views recently. But if he stays healthy and has his confidence back, it will be an interesting #FrenchOpen. By the time French Open arrives, He would have played Monte Carlo, B...

FOR DE ENTIRE TENNIS WORLD...A FIT RAFA is needed...just playing for de sake of it wont do...if he s hammered by Djoker or Murray...dat ll be really shattering
Obviously we do not expect him to be. Last time when he was injured in 2009, it took him 11 tournaments to win another title. He is coming after a 7 month lay off and that is too much in any sport. In an individual sport such as Tennis, 7 months without competition , it is a tall order to come b...

I seriously dont think he s upto his peak fitness level as yet...de last thing you want is him to go out injured again
Jim Courier... will be for first qestion.....
Ya he's back and is doing that he does bests, played well but was denied by Horacio Zeballos in Chile Open final
7 months is a long time, hoping this time his knee does not bother him that he would need to take a break again.
The king of clay is back.

Though I m a Federer fan, I want Nadal back. No more Federer-Nadal clashes. Just missing those tense moments and nail-biting finishes with fans of both the players glued to the tv sets with equal love for their respective players.

Love her, hate her, you just cant ignore Serena! Pity there are no Hingis'... Somehow prefer the beautiful game to the hard hitting one...

@[169132:naga25french] heard a couple of days back from a friend which hinted that Rafa might be out of action for the rest of the season...couldn't believe that time but it seems it is going that way only
Nadal rules himself out of US open Sad news !
Nadal rules himself out of US open Sad news !
Andy Murray crushed Federer n took the GOLD comfortably...BUT this will make things more interesting...in US OPEN anything can happen..Nadal ll be comin back...Djokovic will work hard to defend his title...Fedex will bend his back to retain the no 1 ranking...and Murray with his confidence back w...
The gold medal has eluded Fedex for so long, this is his best ever chance,no nadal, playing on the same court where he won his wimbledon title, rooting for RF all the way.

With NADAL pulling out...it ll be interesting to see,who takes the Gold this time..Murray and Fedex have bright chances..but only a fool will write off "DJOKER"....

Sadden by Nadal pulling out. Waiting for the action at Flushing Meadows.

Disappointing news... Nadal pulls out of Olympics.... He is a Good Competitor and a good guy too.. I just don't like him cos he messes with Fed's mind, but apart from that my heart is reaching out to him as Olympics is once in 4 years affair and it would be heart wrenching for him, missing out on...

Well records and achievements set aside, what is really appealing to me while watching Roger play is his style. And what is even more astonishing to me is how he has used his game full of elegance and finesse to dominate tennis in an era where there is so much of power hitting from the back of th...

being a Fed fan also, I still believe to use the term "greatest of all time" can have some facts to discuss on...undoubtedly Fed is one of the all time greats, but there are people like a certain Rod Laver, who could have won many more slams if the dispute of amateur-pro tennis did not occur(eve...

@[169132:naga25french] its becoming seemingly hard being a FED fan these days... sometimes he plays so sloppy tennis with too many unforced errors as u mentioned... I bet that those two aces were divine!!!

@[503644:pallavi08] With due respect to Fedex's hero and my fav Tennis player Pete Sampras , lets say Fedex as One of the greatest Tennis player of all times
A special attribute of new Fedex is he commits so much unforced errors yet he manages to win the crucial moments ..

Hard luck for all Indian fans !!! Paes-Vesnina made a good comeback in the final from facing championship point in the 2nd set, but cud'nt quite pull it off in the end. They have now ended up runners-up in both Wimbledon and the Australian Open, apart from being losing semi-finalists at the Frenc...

Fantastic tennis match!!! Gr8 comeback from Fedex after a sluggish start. Showed superb mental toughness esp. in the 2nd set after losing the first, when Murray seemed to have multiple break point opportunities in all his service games.
Form is temporary, class is permanent!!!
Olympics men's singles gold medal is the next step for da maestro.:D

Congratzz to Fed and his legions of fans for the 17th major. The bar is getting higher and higher. Murray started well but it was Fed who showed why he had won 16 majors.
Anyways looking forward to US open now. If Fed stays on the top and Nadal 3rd until the start of US open, we will see som...

Congratulations to the Master!!!
Hopefully we'll get to see Fed vs Rafa/Fed vs Djoker in the Olympics. And I also hope that Murray gained some confidence from this match. We should get to see some good Tennis in the rest of the season
