I wanted to start a general discourse on Right to Education Act and see what people are feeling in general about various issues related to it.

The Parliament passed the historic Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Bill on 4^th Aug, 2009 which further received the President €™s assent on 26^th Aug, 2009. The Act came into force on 1^st Apr, 2010 which entails that all children in the age group 6-14 years shall have the right to avail themselves free education.
