I saw the video last night. The claims are too tall and I don't know how true they are. Though, I'm sure as hell about some politicians from our current cabinet owning most of the dosh stashed in the Swiss bank.

But where I'm clueless is Mr.Gupta's views about Hazare that the latter is a "paid agent of the Congress". Apparetly, the way things are shaping up at the moment, and the distinctive targetting by Hazare against Manmohan, I fail to see even an iota of veracity in Mr.Gupta's claims.

i researched a bit and got the news of double taxation treaty signed by pranab mukherjee which forbids india from taking the names of those who have opened their swiss accounts before 4 july 2011 , i have posted the link 1-2 pages back

secondly , his claim on government being corrupt is also true as that is a supreme court verdict, refer complete supreme court verdict on black money issue

his claims on other ministers are again true as i personally know some things which happened in up elections and he told the same in a video titled "black money in elections "

as far as his ideology on anna hazare is concerned

vishwabandhu is a baba ramdev supporter and he also criticizes baba if he says anything wrong
when he says anna hazare is apaid agent of congress he misquoted himself as he said earlier that congress used anna to counterattack ramdev's movement which was greater a threat
further , he has bit of anger on likes of kejriwal and manish sisodia and he calls them illiterate in every interview and vents out anger on them ,the reason is he was not allowed to speak from the diaz in anna's movement .
another reason is he alongwith a advocate filed a case in SC on freeing police from governemnt and SC gave averdict in their favour in the form of NATIONAL POLICE COMMISSION report which is still not implemented by the govt and he balmes kejriwal for not showcasing in their movement

he is not saying anna hazare is a agent of congress but venting out his anger on them for not taking his services and doing some faulty things during the moevement . Don't worry vishwabandhu gupta is also a whistleblower and openly attacks congress and sonia gandhi

NEW DELHI: Launching a scathing attack on the UPA government, yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Sunday said, "Our Prime Minister is honest but the Union cabinet is corrupt."

Ramdev along with anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare is on a day-long fast at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.

In his first public speech at Parliament Street in New Delhi, Ramdev said: "Prime Minister should first make his Cabinet corruption free before taking any corruption-free measure."

"The prime minister said that 'I am honest', but the country does not see you as an individual," said Ramdev.






"The nation respects you for being an honest individual, but you should also be honest politically. The country sees you as the person holding the highest constitutional post. Your personal honesty is not enough... Keep your cabinet honest," he said.

Ramdev said, "Manmohan Singh was forced to give statement on illegal mining. We all know that the prime minister is a honest person and we all respect him. But people expect him to make his Cabinet corruption free."

Starting his speech with slogans like "Vande Mataram", "Bharat Mata ki Jai", he said common people are above elected representatives.

"The elected representatives say they are above all, but the Constitution of India says people are above all," he said.

He further said, "First battle for Independence was fought in 1857 and second battle is being fought today. We are fighting this battle not to hurt anybody."

On the issue of Naxals, Ramdev said, "I do not support the Naxals but their war is legitimate, their demands are justified."

While Team Anna members Medha Patkar, Santosh Hegde and Prashant Bhushan will not be present for the Sunday fast, Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi were present at the venue.

The fast has been called to mark one year of Ramdev's last agitation at Ramlila ground, from where he was arrested in the middle of the night between June 3 and 4 last year.

Ahead of their joint fast, both Ramdev and Anna Hazare visited Rajghat.

Baba Ramdev reached Mahatma Gandhi's samadhi along with a number of his supporters after taking out a march from the Delhi borders while Hazare reached there from Maharashtra Sadan where he was staying.

Before heading to Rajhat from Tikri Kalan on Delhi border, Ramdev threatened the government with a fight to finish by August for bringing back black money stashed abroad.

Ramdev said the economic situation in the country is very bad as the rupee was falling and growth rate had declined.

"We need to bring back black money. I appeal to people of the country to join this fight. We are intensifying this fight. From today, we are intensifying our protest to bring back black money stashed abroad and want all of the countrymen to be part of the fight to finish by August," he said after paying tributes to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Azad Hind Gram.

Hazare was accompanied by Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi.

Both Hazare and Baba Ramdev spent some time meditating at Rajghat.

Another senior Congress leader went on to say at an election meeting that the pictures of the Batla House encounter had brought tears to party president Sonia Gandhis eyes. While Congress leader Digvijay Singh visited family members of the Batla House encounter accused, none from the party cared to visit the relatives of Police Inspector ML Sharma, who died during the incident. This is not all. Afzal Guru was sentenced to death by the Supreme Court of India in 2004 and is yet to be hanged. The Government lacks the political will to proceed with his hanging. One fears that the Ajmal Kasab case may end up similarly.
Such instances often make citizens wonder whether this nation will ever be free of terrorism? How long will the current state of affairs continue? After every major terrorist incident, the instinctive response of the Government is to constitute a committee or form a new investigative body on top of the existing, inefficient anti-terror set-up. In the aftermath of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, the Government realised the need for a central investigating agency to combat terrorism. As a result, with the unanimous support of all political parties the National Investigation Agency was created. However, this agency has proved ineffective in preventing terror attacks and tracking down terrorists in the country. The 2011 serial blasts in Mumbai followed by the Delhi High Court blasts and the German Bakery bombing in Pune the previous year could neither be prevented and nor were they properly investigated. The NIA was also accused of allegedly offering bribes to name RSS members in the Ajmer blasts case.
The Government wants to create another anti-terror organisation called the National Counter-Terrorism Centre. It is time the Government realised that bad policing cannot be supplemented with more policing. The need of the hour is to improve coordination between investigative agencies and State Governments, create a more comprehensive database of suspected terrorists and streamline the anti-terror operations, rather than encroach upon the powers of the States.
The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has been shelling out the low figures of security forces and civilians killed and the drop in the number of insurgencies as proof of the supposed good work the Government has done. But a close look at the fragile political situation in Pakistan provides us reason for these low figures. A nation that can barely protect its own people from its own extremists groups and has strained relations with its volatile neighbour Afghanistan, can hardly support insurgencies in India. Thus, the number of terror incidents supported from Pakistan is bound to decrease. What the Home Ministry fails to take into account is the steep rise in fake currency coming into Pakistan via Bangladesh and then into India. There is also the rise in cyber attacks. These are the new methods being employed to weaken India by sabotaging its economy. What has been done by the Government to control such incidents, other than lodge FIRs and conduct inquiries?
These methods are also being employed to fund Left-wing extremists who are being used to bleed India by inflicting multiple cuts. The recent capture of a top Peoples Liberation Army guerrilla in Delhi has proved that such terror outfits are being funded and armed by China. The CPI(Maoist) has time and again expressed solidarity with the many Jammu and Kashmir-based terrorist groups. The Chief Minister of Assam, Mr Tarun Gogoi, recently stated that insurgent groups like ULFA have been liaisoning with Pakistans Inter-Services Intelligence and Maoist groups and is being used by them to infiltrate into a number of districts. All this, when the Home Ministry claims to be in talks with them to negotiate peace. Left-wing extremism is clearly on the rise, with over a hundred districts in Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha seriously affected .
The current state of affairs makes it amply clear that these extremists have no concern for development and they intend to usurp power by first dominating the countryside and then moving towards the cities. And, hence, the soft approach being taken by the Government makes India an even easier target. We cannot afford being the soft state that we are. Merely pumping funds into development is not the solution to the Maoist menace.
Of course, development is indispensable and we need to ensure that officials deputed in development efforts get strong security cover as well. But, if incidents like the recent abductions of Odisha MLA Jhina Hikaka and Sukma Collector Alex Paul Menon continue to happen, the Government should, instead of negotiating, crack down on these extremists with a heavy hand. They will need local intelligence support.To that end, the disbanding of Special Police Officers in Jharkhand was a terrible mistake. SPOs have played a crucial role in eradicating terrorism from Punjab. States like Jammu and Kashmir have also benefitted from them. Similarly, removing or diluting the AFSPA in Jammu and Kashmir would severely hamper the capabilities and morale of the Army.
The nation is in dire need of a more nuanced approach to dealing with issues of national security. Mere half-baked policies will not succeed. Our security will continue to be compromised so long as this Government tries to politicise and pressure the stakeholders in the crucial decision-making process.

The problem is that government cannot cut taxes on petrol/diesel/lpg because they are running a high fiscal deficit. However given the black money existing in places like Switzerland, Germany and other European countries we can easily clear all that deficit plus use the rest of money for the development of the country.
I hope someday the money comes to India and it goes to the development of the people.

UPA hiked petrol prices by 120% since its inception



In one of the steepest ever petrol price hike by Rs7.50 per litre on Wednesday, UPA government earned itself the distinction of increasing petrol prices by about 120% since its inception. "I don't have a Metro station near my house. It is seven km from my house. I used to take my car. Now I can't. Because I will end up spending at least Rs 2,000 extra if I use car. I will have to switch to Metro," Madhumita Misra, an accountant residing in Indrapuram and works in Connaught Place, said.
In the steepest ever hike, petrol price was increased today by Rs 7.50 a litre with effect from midnight tonight.
State-owned oil firms said they will raise petrol price by Rs 6.28 per litre excluding local sales tax or VAT. The hike translates into Rs 7.50 per litre in Delhi. Petrol in Delhi currently costs Rs 65.64 a litre and after the increase it will be priced at Rs 73.14 per litre.
"I was planning to buy a car. If petrol price is sky rocketing like this, I have to rethink. I can't spend substantial part of my earnings on petrol," said Blesson Mathews, a junior software professional, said.

my 2 cents
1) It has been proved in UPA-II tenure that even a person of calibre of MMS cant do anything to stem the rot in the system - though I am neutral to Narendra Modi , he is the person one should learn from about administration , he is a simple man and has the will to give good governance- all else is secondary .....where leaders are good , there it does not matter whether it is Congress or BJP
2)Apart from the Governance deficit -which of course plays an important part in a country's economy , I feel that the Corporates too have been sluggish and have not really worked hard in the past few years - may be they have taken success for granted ??? RIL , Infosys ......just sitting on past laurels.....??
3)People do have the power to change the system and this was evident in the recent UP elections , what remains to be seen is whether a young educated competent guy Akhilesh Yadav would be able to come out tops in a Samajwadi Part full of criminals ...If he can pull this off , then I think we will see some interesting developments in the near future
4) Last but not the least , I am very positive on the future of our country more so because even young guys at PG are opening threads for serious , meaningful discussions !! this augurs well

I think India needs a strong PM to usher growth and sadly its not the case now.

Secularism is the principle of separation between government institutions and the persons mandated to represent the State from religious institutions and religious dignitaries.Secularism doesnt exist in reality in INDIA.For Gods sake I wish this scenario changes.Votes in the name of religion!where are we heading? When something wrong happens ,irrespective of the caste or economic status they have to be punished.It doesnt imply that if a section of muslims/hindus/any other commits a crime,then innocent muslims/hindus/.... have to be spared.But in reality in some states which I dont want to mention,religious crimes are happening with full support from government that even the police department finds it impossible to fight for justice.Imagine a state where human trafficking is happening with full support from people of power,when a particular religion is abused or exploited and nothing is done about it,then obviously people in the exploited religion will rise against this,and normal citizens cant do much about this ,so again,people in power belonging to the exploited religion starts fighting against this.This is human nature,But an eye for an eye makes the world blind.If the people who are commiting crimes or supporting them are strictly punished,then there will not be any need for religious groups(that exists now)

Is there a solution?Yes,if the government can take strict action against those exploiting others in the name of religion,and this doesnt mean only hindus /muslims are to be protected!every human has a right to live here in peace,at the same time let others also live in peace."Respect for every religion and security to live in peace"-This can only be a vision.I wish for a government that doesnt have memory loss(like in the case of mumbai attack)and address the issues with clarity and sense,taking strict and immediate action.The government has power ,what more they need.They have to analyse the loopholes make it corruption free ,instead of that the Govt should not take advantage of the loopholes.

ps:I too am neutral,when it comes to ruling party.For all that we have heard about the congress desperate for muslim votes ,that made it blind to take any action against the muslim irregularities.And the BJP that garners the Hindu vote and considers the muslims as enemies.We need a government that knows the practical meaning of secularism.I dont favour a particular party and wish for a strong government.

this much wasnt worse situation of the country when BJP was in center.in 1991 there was similar financial crisis but Mr.Manmohan Singh adeptly controlled the situation.such economic and financial crisis isnt new to india there have been instances previously also the RBI's econonmic laws saved India in those times also to survive even in economic turmoil in world which was possible with support of government.
RBi is even more stable and well equipped to handle economic crisis affectively than Federal bank or world bank its only lack of support of government due tro whcih country's economic condition is in doldrums.
21000 crores TMC at bengal which came with support of UPA govt is in debt now one can imagine how many years would it take to pay just the interest of it.corruption, red tapism, illiteracy, poverty,unemployment econonmic crisis ,crime rates and many more have increased under the tenure of UPA govt.

adding to that BJP has also done well in Gujarat if Narendra led govt comes to center the country can be expected to be saved from econonmic shambles that now its suffering under congress!!

10. some criminal ppl sitting in parliamnet -- they are criminals and i may sound vocal but they should be hanged for the crimes they have done
not only hanged but hanged multiple times

11. fighting ppl who are fighting social injustice be it ramdev or anna hazare
they were either thrashed or shown the back door

12. some ministers and neta who are more interested in cricket rather than their portfolios , some of them have killed alone thousands of farmers with their policies
