The guy who has been pinging people in order to get email ids , phone numbers of girls. Such was the desperation of the the guy that i had to block him on Gtalk and then put an auto reject for his phonenumber on my phone.

Why did not you report it earlier and why the emotional drama now? Knowing the facts, you let it continue, so it is good that you are ashamed now.

I dont have any problems with the guy doing all this stuff. But the thing is that in more than one case he did told a gal(from PG) that i was his very good friend and i got a call from that gal asking me to talk to him , as the things were going way to much.

And the story doesnt end here. He used this platform to make friends with the gals and then suffocated them by calling and pinging them to such an extent that they had to stop using the gtalk and ignore his calls.

And its not a single case, i know atleast three such cases. Over years there has been some kind of trust developed amongst puys . Because of it we do share personal details with each other. And we do have crushes, we do have other things. And its a truth that it has happened.

His problems might have been genuine this time. He might have been a victim of the same. But Most of the time other people have been on this side.

Thanks Aniruddh for Bringing this up. I have seen such cases in the past as well. I asked him to write this post after reading the evidence. So all those who think this is "post made in bad taste" may reserve their comments.

I am sure you must be remembering some parts of the PMs atleast (no one is really interested in your Gtalk extracts) . It would be really kind on your part if you can share with us the PMs, so that we can have a laugh.

Aashish I dont really understand the need of this post. And it is best to address the greater good than laugh at a PM. For your kind information, even Gtalk conversations can be used in such cases. So. dont assume that we are not interested in the Gtalk conversations.

From the girls point of view it could be said that "you can't distrust everyone, but the problem is that it's not written on anybody's head if he/she could be trusted or not".

And ya, I don't think the people who know you will give this case any significance. So, you don't need to bother about these things.

In my opinion, this thread should be taken in good humour. I don't think a person can be offended by it, even if he/she is the one to send the PM. And if he/she has a genuine query, the concerned person might have replied to it as well.

PS: Even if I do get such queries (and I did get similar ones earlier :)), I ensure that I reply, even if it's to say "Sorry, I don't have an answer". I'm pretty sure many other users follow this practice.

Just to add to avinav,the posts on this thread by no means are intented to offend anyone.Everyone answers to such queries.Its just that the replies aren't so funny.We understand that there might be language probs with newbies but we all can comprehend the gist of the query and we do reply sincerely.Its just that the queries bring smiles to our face,so they are here.

All the postings should be taken in the true spirit.

@Mods i think, few of the PMs here are out of genuine reason. If we start making such PMs public , newbies will hesitate next time and will think for 1000 times before PMing. Take example of above message. The guy will be investing his 2 years in the college. His language may not be correct, but do u ppl believe it wasnt from genuine concern? If someone doesnt want to answer, he can certainly block that person. Is it necessary to make this public?

i am sorry, if i have done anything wrong by posting it on this thread....i will keep this in mind, and would refrain from posting...
