no yaar snan, i think it was not paisa wasool becauseb i had to look up, not in front to watch the flick. actually my neck got sprainned too. u may try it urself at adlabs

Not too sure abt this one, but in Mithun movies, the back rows r usually empty, so u can get ur pillow along and have a nice nap in the air-conditioned theater (that is, for people who dont have an office to sleep ) But then u need to be an expert at dozing off in a seated position (and Im sure all engg students are )

Certainly not what I wud look forward to in this movie
If someone manages to get me to watch it that is (the thing with these Karan Johar/Yash Chopra movies is that its pretty difficult to make one out from the other)

just saw this movie..nicely made..loved the situational comedy in the movie..esp the scenes involvin saif..he sure makes u laugh(by his expressionz!!)..also priety is lookin damn cute here..

but karan johar stretched it a li'l 2 loong..man 3+ hrs is some pain!

Shah Rukh Khan's character (Aman) is largely inspired by Rajesh Khanna's happy-go-lucky charmer in Anand. But on the whole, Kal Ho Naa Ho is as different as they come.
The film kicks off with Manhattan resident Naina Catherine Kapur (Preity Zinta) narrating the story of her life over her daily morning jog.
The characters in Naina's life are introduced with the same energy that Naina puts into her jog. There is her mom Jennifer (Jaya Bachchan in jeans), who shares a love-hate relationship with her mother-in-law Sushma Seth (at her loudest Punjabi best).
Mommy runs a flop restaurant. Grandmother is a flop singer. Together they are chaos.
Enough reason for Naina to turn into a boring, bespectacled spinster type who takes life too seriously.
The only interesting person in Naina's life is buddy Rohit Patel (Saif Ali Khan). He is uncool with women but thinks he is cool. He is also a typical Gujarati, whose father (Satish Shah) runs a business called Dial A Dhokla.
Enter funny guy Aman, who turns out to be the proverbial angel in Naina's life. He is Dale Carnegie-Jim Carrey-Richard Gere-Deepak Chopra all rolled into one. He zooms into Naina's neighbourhood singing Pretty woman and woos everyone in sight, including uppity Naina.
Naina hates him at first sight, but can't help being overwhelmed by Aman's charm.
Even Rohit takes tips from Aman on how to be cool and influence people. Life is a song and dance till the interval.
Post interval, it is time to bring out the tissues -- an entire box of them in fact. It is time for the audience to discover that Aman is not what he seems.
You will sob all the way to the end.
The second half is moving, yet humorous.
Full marks to director Nikhil Advani and producer Karan Johar for not letting the proceedings turn heavy.
The climax is a revelation. Set against the superbly picturised Mahi ve, the film ends on a note that can be best described as clapworthy.

Though Karan Johar's influence looms large all over the film -- be it the gripping story/screenplay, the costumes or the spicy humour -- Nikhil Advani makes a superb debut.
The film is fresh in treatment and storytelling.
Shah Rukh excels as the supercool Aman. He reiterates his King Khan status with Kal Ho Naa Ho. You understand why it is difficult for Karan to work with any other actor, because SRK steals the show with a designer-made role.
Given SRK's performance, it is all the more important to take note of Saif, whose Rohit Patel will be remembered just as much as his Sameer in Dil Chahta Hai. Saif is first-rate, and your heart goes out to this under-rated actor.
Preity Zinta slips into character beautifully. Right from the preppy spectacles to her no-nonsense demeanor, Preity captures the spirit of Naina Kapur. She has never looked so pretty.
Kal Ho Naa Ho will carry you with its exuberance.

let me be the first to post the review of Kal ho na ho....

i just saw the movie and man WHAT a movie... great one! the BEST movie of 2003 and i have intution that it will surely set some records staright way!

As for the tickets .. i never bothered as my class gals arranged that well in advance but the worst thing was the traffic.... Bangalore SUCKS with it's WORST TRAFFIC SENSE!!!! there was a heavy traffic jam near the theater which ,made me enter the hall 2 mins late even though i left my place some 1 hr before!!!!! i was very unhappy as i wanted to see the movie since begining so missed a bit

but it took no time for me to get completely involved with the movie.....

The best thing i liked about the movie is the way in which it is presented.... the right mixture for Youth and Old.....

Complete FAMILy, FRIEND, COUPLE ENTERTAINER!!!!

Shahruk was as usual Good, Preety was again as usual VERY VERY PREETY and SAIf????? Ab is ke baarein main kya boloon..... AMAZING ACTING!!!

But guys... u'll get lots 'n lots of surprises in this movie.. get ready for that!!!! It's STAR LOADED!!!! U can spot almost all BIG STARS of BOLLYWOOD but if u can spot FARHA KHAN and MANISH MALHOTRA then u have a good sense of observation ... I did spot them

In short... very good movie i watched off late....

Saw Matrix Revolutions recently.... Mumbai ppl , see the movie at imax adlabs , wadala .... imax version ... 7 floor high screen ... 3 times the width of normal theatre screen.... just simply amazin on imax... 200 bucks but worth every buck.... U will like the movie if u have seen matrix 1 and 2.... Memorable Experience ....

I saw "waisa bhi hota hai - part 2". Itsa must watch movie.

Just finished watching the Matrix:Revolutions.Actually,I didn't find the movie to be that bad.Maybe becos I had very low expectations in the first place.I would recommend this movie to all fans of the Matrix genre.However fans who expect hardcore action would be disappointed.
