nonsense stratergy from ferrari meant that barichello came 3rd instead of 1st
they got him bottled up time and again behind various drivers like montoya , shumi and ralf time and again

Woohoooooo!!!! 7 outta 8!!! Any doubts on who the greatest (of all time) is? I guess not! ;-)
Anyway, brilliant strategy and stunning pace from Michael....and with Williams having been disqualified, it means Ferrari have a 1-2 finish yet AGAIN!!!!!
Cheers!

man .. i am shocked .. plenty of drama on the track .. no need fr daily soaps
Too bad dint work out.I had this hunch from the beginning that the ferraris were on a pitstop strategy that involved one less pit than the others. It was the only way out and they did it.Hats off to the ferrari thinktank.

Ralf at front and BAR and Renaults before the Ferrari intersting , hope that Ferrari looses the candian grandprix. Prefering a Button or a Truli win tonight !!
I think sato got carried away by the applause button recieved . this is the second race in sucession where he has spoiled a pole position chance .
overtaking on the circuit may prove difficlult here , so i think it will be down to pit lane stratergy .

how stupid of sato...but now that he's out of contention all we can hope is some one from williams manages to clinch this one..cant see schumi winning this one yet again..
Really interesting grid for the race. I guess with Trulli and Alonso almost guarenteed to move off quickly at the start, the Williamses can come into play :D:D:D:D. Awesome!
As for Sato, what can one say other than......"amateurish".

Guess Sato's the biggest jackass in F1 today. He shd learn how to control that gem of a car called BAR. Learn it from JB Sato!
Tell Sato he dont drive a rocket.
Prediction: With ralf in the front row ... first corner crash tomorrow.
cheers

he he he......buddy....i think he has to bang into both the ferraris and still able to run....to win this time....
Sato is gonna win this one....
Formula 1 is becoming boring had fun watching Mika Hakkinen winning 2 -3 yrs back . Now I just see red ferraris zoom to podium quiet predicatably, Black Mclarens are not even in the frame. Also quiet pleasing to see the BARs and Renault back in form on constructors points. My fav McLaren made my ...

This season .... ye seems so...

You are assuming that there are actually more than one ??
Montoya will be seriously be thinking about his move to maclaren next year...
as it is his actions and his driving this year in williams is not earning him any accolades...
just imagine his plight when he will be going to a team which is performing as bad as maclaren is doing right now......

The only plus I see in the shift to Mclaren from Montoya's point of view is that when he whines about his car next season, he'll actually have something to whine about .
Well as for Kimi outqualifying Schumi .... hahaha.... dream on..... for time being all raikonnen fans should only hope that he completes a race. Poor guy.
LOL. Here you come........where? ;)
No offence meant dude, but really, are you serious? 2nd best this year? Heck, Adrian Newey himself has said that it will take till 2006 for McLaren to be competing with Ferrari again. Face facts. The Scarlet cars are in a league of their own. McLaren themsel...

The FIA is all confused for the simple reason that the manufacturers are threatning to start their own F1 from 2007 if they rnt given more revenue.

see u cant compare minardi with mclaren
the reason it seems that the car blows up is they r pushing too hard in technical changes ...
anyways if their ideas click then great else anyway they dont get any points for coming outside 8 like minardi do
hope Mclaren solves their reliability ...

Not so sure about this 1. After all, the FIA wants to liven up the sport right? And pit-strategy is in any case one of the most important facets of the sport. After all, there will always be one driver-car combo which will be the fastest (Schumi this year). Do we wanna see him win EVERY race unco...
I seriously dont get what the FIA is trying to do with these new rules... on one side they want to reduce MS chances of winning again and again by changing the point systems and on one side they get in rules that will help the team with the better and more consistent car which undoubtably happens...
these rules by F1 now a days are more focussed on eliminating the advantage that can be gained by the team in the pits.
more and more rules are being formulated with the sole aim that the winner of the race is the best driver on track....
just look at the last race at monace... how on earth...

Errrr.......good for the viewing public? Not so sure......after all, it's strategy that enables a car that may not be the fastest to gain positions and at times even WIN races against superior machinery.....by bringing in this rule, all they are ensuring is that the fastest car+driver combo will ...
THe safety car rule wil bring more uncertainty into F!1 guys . yeah it will throw startergy out of the window . good for the viewing public i say . one gotta have reserves for a lap atleast wen one pits . if he doesnt , isnt the team a foolish team .? anyway its something like the rain . even rai...
hey mike

Errrr.....that's the point!!! What if it was the LAST lap....the poor guy only has enough fuel to reach the pits...you know how F1 is....that's the way it is done...you exploit the very last bit left! So essentially this guy is gonna have to do some extra mileage for which he doesn't have the gas...
Hey Mike
I had a different interpretation when i read the rule.
I think waht it means is that PitLane closed till all the cars line up behind the safety car. Once that is done lane will be re-opened. So it may mean only about 2 laps more than scheduled pitstop for the car that might have be...

Well, I dunno really. About that safety car rule....
Imagine this.....a driver is doing some REALLY hot laps before coming into the pits for his final stop (or any other, if it comes to that), and just as he is running on the last drops of fuel on his last lap, there's a crash and the SC comes...

The new points system has one good thing that 8 drivers are rewarded with points.
But i guess it will be better if 1st place gets 12 points ..i.e. 4 pts more than 2nd.
That was 1st finish is not dealt with unfairly and yet the whole system is more competetive.

i doubt about button being the 2nd best in the drivers
the schumi show has been steam rolling at one end....
but dont forget the contributions of Barichello..
remember he is only 14 points behind...

ye read it today,
this is a good one...
the pit window closed when the safety car is out...
thats really a good decision
many drivers used to take advantage of the safety car situation...
now it would be proper racing...
Hope that this stratergy works...

And considering the fact that Schumi car hasnt ditched him since April 2001, I guess the only way someone's gonna stop him from winning the remaining is exactly wat JPM did in Monaco ;-)

I wouldn't call that daring. It was asinine in my opinion. Sato was clearly faster than Barrichello and as Rubens admitted in the post-race press-con, if he had waited till the next lap, when he would have been closer, he would almost certainly have been able to pull it off....and there were LOTS...

Anyone crazy enough to bet on a McLaren win this year?? Even one solitary win?!!
missed the race....
