I have Windows 7 starter pack installed. I clicked on start, typed cmd.. pressed enter, & got a long list of 6 part alpha numeric codes under "physical address". These are as under--

1. Wireless LAN adapter wireless network connection

2. Ethernet adapter bluetooth network connection

4. Tunnel adapter local area connection

Can any techie tell me which is the relevant MAC address under these 4 headings I have given above? I need to submit the relevant MAC address to my institute, so that I may access their wireless network through my lappy.

The code corresponding to the Wireless LAN adapter is your wifi mac address.

For 4500 bucks ka speakers why you want to spend 6000 on a sound card??? Either go for a better speakers or go for a sound card that shouldn't be too heavy on your pocket.

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD is a good card or you can try Auzen X-Fi Home Theater HD.

For keyboards & mouse, always buy Microsoft, trouble free for years.. though more expensive then other makes. Wireless mouse gets sluggish with use, as the batteries drain out, the same as it happens with an AC or television remote. I prefer the wired mouse. The Microsoft mouse should be costing about 450 bucks for the desktop.
