People With Basic computer Knowledge opt for an assembled cos it costs much lesser. U get around 5 to 10 k savings.It is best choise to go for assembled computer. by selecting assembled computer we have more freedom to choose different things in our own way, and we also able to use our knowlege for buying computer parts. In Branded computer all the part belong to same campany, and it not the case that these companies have all good stuff. In assembled computer we also have freedom to choose the thing according to our financial level.So you decide what you have to do

How is Asus as a laptop brand?? Its build quality etc good enough to last and there service.. There motherboards are awesome...

And yes , the apps... OS 2.0 is not a let down since it upgrade in early 2012.
OS 2.1 is also on the cards.

Yeah, the new OS is good. I was expecting better Android integration in the new OS. But considering the efforts RIM is putting in, the Playbook experience will improve for sure.

14000 is too less to get a good tablet. I have used the Blackberry playbook. While the hardware is good enough and fast, the software lets it down. The OS does not have any good apps. The Playbook is good for one thing though, browse the internet and that's about it.

The HCL U1 looks good in paper. Have not seen it in action, but knowing HCL I think it's performance would not be that good. HCL is not that good in Android as far as I know.

14000 is too less to get a good tablet. I have used the Blackberry playbook. While the hardware is good enough and fast, the software lets it down. The OS does not have any good apps. The Playbook is good for one thing though, browse the internet and that's about it.

If there was no data then you are lucky. Is it out of warranty? It seems going for a new one is the best bait.

when i connect the computer recognizes the hard disk but doesn't reads it

a sound also comes "click click " for 5 minutes after which it stops and then nothing happens, lights blowing properly

when it dropped it was in the casing

can anyone tell what could have happened and how to repair it and is it worth repairing ??????if repairing cost is almost same as new hdd cost i would take a new one as there was no data in the hard disk

Was it a SSD or magnetic drive? Well if its magnetic then forget it. Magnetic discs are delegate disks, there is very less chance that it will get repaired.

Puys, if you are a gmail user, you must be knowing one brilliant feature of gmail i.e. "last account activity" wherein you have the access to check the location , date and time , ip address and even the type of module (like internet browser , mobile , etc) used to access your e-mail.

I can't perform searching in my PC as it says "that there is no program associated to perform the requested action. If you are using Windows and are not able to uninstall a programme, then I would recommend you to use Revo Uninstaller. It will help you clear your registries so that no evidence of the software remains on your system.

Window 7 with Aschm port(may be riskful)

You have to keep pressing F8 key and you should reach this menu:-

If you don't mind buying a laptop with DOS, then you can get options in the range of Rs.24000-30000. Asus has a good option at 24k with Intel core i3 processor; I don't remember the model number though. But if you want genuine Windows pre-installed, and you can surely put in a budget of 35k, then the classic option is the Dell Inspiron 15 series....
