Again a marvellous victory by Srilanka, well it shows the hunger of this team towards the title while as far as Australia is concerned i can't say anything about it as it's the team which is Unpredictable. Jayawardene's decision to open has worked wonders for Sri Lanka, suddenly the team looks like a strong unit with superb all rounders. It is very surprising how this team (almost the same) managed to play so bad since the World cup with so many series' losses, just goes to show the role of a captain and especially if the captain has a sane head, it always helps.

Coming to the match, it has been a comprehensive win. The third final will be played at Adelaide, which means it will be advantage SL again.

Guys very Disheartened after knowing India out of the Race but what can anybody do if at last the fate goes on Srilankan side and they take their Revenge from India of the still Unforgettable 2011 World Cup final in which Indian team beat them very brutally , hats off to Yuvi and Dhoni for this. But Guys I know that Indian Team will Definitely do well in Asia Cup as in Indian Team believes that "The harder one falls, the higher it Goes". but if this happens and australia and sri lanka enter the finals. and both of them win 1 final each AND the third final gets abandoned due to rain. then what wud be the scenario.. will again the win/loss criteria come into play

In that case, the cup will be shared by 2 teams. They will also share prize money to do the true justice to a series named 'common-wealth'

However, if first match is won by team A and second match is washed out; cup will be given to team A. This is because, at the end of match-2; team A has lead of 1 match and hence 3rd match is not needed as per rules. So, third match is played only if after first two matches, both teams have equal number of victories. This is what used to be for tri-series in Australia so far. Not sure if there are any changes now.

I think Raina will be surely in the Asia cup squad. He is a very very dangerous player in sub continent. Pujara is injured so he was not getting chances. Though he must be fit now, but wasn't able to prove his fitness for oz tour. But I guess he won't get a chance in odi squad, as there is only 1 seat and 4 talented youngsters are already there :|( Raina, sharma, tiwary and rahane)

Through the entire series, I've felt some decisions didn't go our way. Sachin looked ominous few times but got out in strange fashion. Virat and Rohit gifted their wickets away. The team never clicked as a whole. Today it DID. And how :D

Don't know why allegations of fixing are cropping up after that emphatic win.

Tomorrow is the selection for Asia cup. Hope there will be a few more youngsters coming into the team. We must bank on youngsters for the upcoming series to groom them. Kohli has proved himself to be a great and promising find, now it's time we give a few others to get there.

Uthhapa, Puajara, Tiwari, Rahane, W. Saha, Dinda, R. Sharma, Varun Aaron and others will get a chance hopefully.
